Numbers attempts to respond to the successful Yeet, whatever that is, with a Noot Noot. Unfortunately, it comes out "Toon Toon", and a large cartoonish-looking cardboard weight falls out of the ceiling right onto Numbers' head. While it's lighter than it looks, it's still enough to knock Numbers unconscious.

Use wildly outrageous and dangerous necromajik to pull Granola's soul back from death, forever denying him the honour and glory of Jesterhalla.

Pala experiments with dark majiks beyond the understanding of man and jester, but rather than finding Granola's soul, he finds something truly horrifying. He stares into the visage of Jesterthulhu, and screams until he passes out.

Pharmacy, undeterred by the failure of Palamedes' experiments, attempts to eat Granola's soul. But her efforts to summon the soul and consume it go nowhere, and she is forced to settle for a granola bar. However, she eats it too hurriedly and chokes on it, falling to the floor because everyone's too busy laughing to actually help her.

awkwardcarapace attempts to flip the game, but after going to considerable effort to construct a game-flipping device, the game goes flying into the air and then lands the same way up. awkwardcarapace is very disappointed and disassembles the device in disgust.

For the first time since their return they look around at the other jesters and tilt their head quizzically. "Um so what did I miss?"

Ixcaliber attempts to tilt their head quizzically, but instead winds up tilting their body. They tilt it at increasingly unstable angles, fall to the ground, and hit themselves in the head with their own weapon, knocking them unconscious before they can even ask their question.

Spoileroh yeah.. woops!!

Everyone wakes up after an exhausting night of whatever they did, and gathers in the main hall, including the people injured in the Jest-Off.

They discover Pharmacy's body just lying there. Strangely, there are no signs of injury; it's as if the life was just drained out of her.

Pharmacy was a Mafia-aligned Asset Freezer. Each night she could target someone and prevent them from performing any action that involved money, as well as preventing any actions that involved money working on them.

Pharmacy would win if at least half the living players held money at the end of the game.

A sense of panic falls over the crowd as everyone realizes that they're actually making progress in finding the Mafia and that could interfere with their unknown win conditions. However, it soon passes, and everyone's attention is instead drawn to more strange marks appearing.

There is an INNOCENT mark on seedy's forehead, and a GUILTY mark on Thalia V1's forehead.

After that, the speaker starts up.

"Good morning everyone! Glorious Leader Paranoia has another proclamation for today. He asks that you find the one who stole his bath slippers. We're sure you can address that matter somehow over the course of your deliberations."

And with that, the day has officially begun.
