What is this?
Eagle-Time is a myBB based webforum. As such we collect data about the users who visit the site. Here you can read what data we collect, what we use it for, how it’s protected, and how you can reach out if you have any concerns.
What information do we collect?
The type of data that we collect and process can be divided into two categories: Personally identifying information and Non-Personally Identifying information
Non-Personally Identifying Information includes items like: Browser type, Device information, referring sites, and dates of time of visitor interactions. Collection of this information is standard to the functioning of websites and could be used to track aggregated metrics about site use.
Personally Identifying Information includes anything that does or potentially could identify you individually. This includes things like your IP address, email, or date of birth. It also includes content that you post and share on Eagle-Time as well as metrics about your activity on Eagle-Time such as post count or threads you visit.
In each case, Eagle-Time only collects information insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of a user’s interaction with the site. Eagle-Time does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below, and users of the site have the right to request the removal of personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in the site. (You can’t have a forum account without an email, for example.)
Note that anything you post and save to Eagle-Time becomes part of Eagle-Time’s database. This includes your posts, images, and any private messages sent through Eagle-Time. Note that while Eagle-Time does store passwords with encryption, private messages are not encrypted and may be viewed by Eagle-Time management in the course of the situations described below. You have the option to delete private messages, posts, or other content at any time through your user control panel or directly on the content itself.
In some cases, Eagle-Time will use third party apps to provide functionality of the site, (e.g. CAPATCHA, Google Analytics) These apps are governed by the respective privacy policies and terms of services of their respective owners.
How Eagle-Time protects personally-identifying information:
Eagle-Time only discloses potentially personally-identifying information to administrators, moderators or affiliated contractors that (i) need to know that information to process it on Eagle-time’s behalf or to provide services available through Eagle-Time, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. By using Eagle-Time, you consent to the use and transfer of information as described.
Eagle-Time will not rent or sell personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than as described above, Eagle-Time only discloses personally-identifying information when required to do so by law, if you give permission to have your information shared, or when Eagle-Time believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the activity of Eagle-Time, third parties, or the public at large.
Eagle-Time takes reasonably necessary measures to protect against the unauthorized acces, use alteration, or destruction of personally-identifying information.
Your Access to Data:
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, you may use the settings found in your user control panel. If you believe that the information we hold about you is incomplete or inaccurate, you may contact us to correct that information.
You also have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. Please contact us if you would like us to remove your personal data.

Your continued use of Eagle-Time signifies your acceptance of this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may make changes to this policy at any time. You may be asked to review and re-accept the information in this policy if it changes in the future.
