?????? Mafia - GAME END: Town Wins Somehow

This is a terrible idea and I know it.

So here's the deal. This is a Jester game, with one additional twist.

If you join this game, you will not be told your alignment, role, or win condition. Instead, you just name one player every night and I work out behind the scenes what you actually do.

I will neither confirm nor deny whether I will actually plan out actions ahead of time or just pick them from a random list. If you get an investigation result, it may be from something you did or it may be a consequence of something that somebody else did. Who knows! Only me.

There will still be day phases for voting and shenanigans. Lynching people will probably help with somebody's win condition, maybe even yours. Do what you want.

To reiterate, this is a terrible idea and I know it. At least I won't have to spend much time on role descriptions.

EDIT: There are some basic rules for players to follow. Most general Mafia rules aren't really applicable to this particular game, but a few are.

1. Do not post at night. This game's going to be confusing enough already.
2. Do not communicate with others about the game outside of the thread. Not that it makes a huge difference in this game, given you have very little (if any) unique information, but it's a good habit to get into for others.
3. Do not edit your posts! Make a second post if you need to correct something. Again, this doesn't matter as much in this particular game, but it's only polite to make sure people can rely on you not changing your story. And it helps you get into the habit.
4. If you have questions, post them in your Quicktopic rather than sending me a forum PM, just for the sake of keeping my inbox clear. You can also direct message me on Discord if you need to.
5. Be respectful to others and don't break any of the rules of the forum.

Okay, I have a nice chaotic setup put together now, and I think I caught and ruled on all the weird edge cases, but I'm sure you people will find a way to prove me wrong.
