I was wondering if it would be kosher for me to run a FA in parallel both here and at the MSPAFA forums. Just, have a thread in both places, choose suggestions from either. I don't see a problem, but I saw no reason not to ask.

Yup! Waiter Quest is doing it, and Fightems had a transitional period taking suggestions from both sites before graciously settling on Eagle Time proper.
I'm always gonna be grateful to authors for inviting their readership on board here, but wouldn't want you to lose readers over it either.

Good to know. Glad I only have about 4 posts from Respec(') to copy here, cause one of my adventures was well over 50,000 words by the time it was abandoned...

Our IRC is #eagletime on Esper. If you've ever been to the likes of #MSPAFA or #pesterchum, it's the same server.

I'm not gonna lie. It's been months and I still don't understand Hawkspace. Was it just an experiment to see how we would all rank pages? What are we, google spiders? It's just that I'm noticing a lot of thread duplication.

I apologize for being a clueless youngster, but really, what's up with this site? Why birds? Who exactly is Fact Seagull, and why is he eating my heart out?

The story is that, way back in the day, Wheatthins made a list of silly adventure titles.
One of those was Woop Zoop, It's Eagle Time and so, when we decided to make our own forum, that's the name we wet with.
I'm skipping over some details but that covers the basics of it, and also why you may see us spontaneously go "Woop Zoop" sometimes. I'm not sure how often that actually comes up on the forum, though.
Fact Seagull is a seagull who explains facts, another creation of Wheatthins.

Well, way back in the day, there used to be nothing. But then Wheatthins spat into a spittoon and created the universe.
I'm skipping over some details but that covers the basics of it, and also why you may wake up in the morning and whisper to yourself "Woop Zoop" sometimes.
The universe is infinitely expanding because the spittoon is really cold and the spit that is our universe is freezing. As most know, water expands when it freezes.

It's kinda been bugging me because I've literally stumbled upon this forum via random chance just yesterday, but is this forum derived from any source material, like mspa's forum is from mspaintadventures? Or is this whole thing just kinda floating in the internet ether?
Edit: Nevermind. First post here and I've already askeded a question that can be answered with minimal digging. Consider me initiated into the being on a forum thing! Woo!

How do you mark a thread as read/unread? (sometimes i read a thread at school and school wifi blocks an image, so it marks it as read but i haven't actually read it)

would it be possible to relax the number of images in a signature laws. i've got a lot of hastily abandoned projects and i don't want any of them feeling left out.

: With some cursory googling, I think the issue with emoji is our not-very-recent version of myBB (the forum software). Pinary was talking about updating it, so I'll try get an estimate of when that'd happen?
Ix: how many would you like/seems reasonable?
