Those spots are caused by melanocytes! They have stringly arms that spread around other cells and are basically the buff boys when it comes to absorbing UV rays!
...that is probably not what you meant by that...

I am privileged to share a thread with such attractive and colorful folks. Do you play any instruments, Arcadence and Solekii? I feel like we might need to form a band
Also I am wicked uncomfortable acknowledging compliments so pretend I responded graciously like a normal human when confronted with the positive sentiments in this thread

Heh, thanks everyone, I'm glad I can fit in with all the colourful humans (and non humans alike).
Also, I do play some instruments. Guitar and ukulele. I'm trying to learn piano again but all I have is a crappy cheap keyboard and am not at all good at it yet.

Alas, I have no colored hair to give, unless of course you take a Fordist view of things:

I don't play any instruments, but I sing! I also keep trying to learn guitar but it's hard

have you tried the violin first? It's two strings less, so it must be easier
(it isn't )

I've considered it, since I love the violin, but I already have a guitar and can't really justify buying another instrument that I'll ignore

Violin and other string instruments (but especially violin and viola, because of the rather awkward position) are very hard to learn, but are a lot of fun when you do get things to sound good. And when you do sound good, you're used to sounding awful so you tend to play quietly and without confidence. It took me way longer just to stop playing timidly than it did for me to sound well.

I really would love to learn it some day, I just don;t trust my fingers to not be clumsy enough. I can't even consistently hit the ' correctly.

The nice thing about learning strings, though, is that it's really transferable to other string instruments. You learn one and it makes learning another much easier, at least to me it seems to. I'd love to play cello or violin but those things are so expensive
Cellos are sexy as hell, though

I play the violin badly. I will admit to feeling on and off strange about it, since I'd really prefer to be playing a cello or even a viola.
Violins are just so... screamy. The pitches involved are just a little bit higher than I would like to be producing.

I sing a hell of a lot better than I play the violin, that's for sure.

Oh gosh no, the hair's as long as ever. Like, before its most recent trim, it was probably the longest it had ever been? Here is a picture of me on a tire horse by way of confirmation:
