A traveler stands at a crossroads. Today is the day that he (she?), a young up-and-comer with a knack for magic, ventures into the world to seek an apprenticeship.

Yep, that's you! Pipple Milkcrates, strawberry yogurt golem at your service! You can tell that you're a strawberry yogurt golem because of your milky pink complexion, and your awkward blocky construction.

You have inhabited this yogurt body as a servant for long enough, now it is time to head out into the world under your own agency to develop your magical talents.

But what are those talents?

You've always been able to manipulate the consistency of liquids, possibly due to your yogurt origins. You've averted a number of molasses disasters just by making it flow like water, and also saved plenty of kids from drowning by making the water flow like molasses. (This has also caused its fair share of problems.)

The ability to command the loyalty of Undead Rodents

Necromancy! But you aren't very good at it. In fact, you've only ever once raised the dead, and you certainly couldn't control them. Also, they looked pretty healthy? You don't really understand the whole living/dying thing, but hey! Talent is talent.

Well, your master said you had a talent for causing trouble. You're sure there must be some useful magic you can do with that.

You possess latent powers of clairvoyance and a talent for closing business deals.

Yes, your penchant for the nose flute is well known among your golem siblings. You're not sure if you've got a respiratory system, but you've got a nose!

Well, your master said you had a talent for causing trouble. You're sure there must be some useful magic you can do with that.

It's true, you are a bit of a mischief causer.



Things just have a tendency to go awry when you're nearby. Not in the sense that you are unruly or mischievous. You've pulled a prank or two in your day, but trouble itself seems to be caused by your presence. This may or may not have been a factor in your former master's not-so-subtle hints to leave.



This leads you to where you are now. Which fork will you take? Towards the mountains, you'll be able to find dwarven cities, and many kindred golems. In the valley, there are clusters of human towns, but you'll be able to find any sort of person there if you look hard enough. Or, you can run off the path and into the wilderness.
