RE: Medium Difficulty (reboot)
Yup. So don't. Even hating Homestuck so aggressively is indicative of blackrom, right?

What should you do?

*Ahem*
> birds

Barring that

> read some of the fun adventures that are not homestuck but made by creative people who joined in the community that formed around it, giving aspiring storytellers an audience to share their work with.

RE: Medium Difficulty (reboot)
>Reflect on whether the ending needs to appear to resolve every plot thread to be good. There are a number of explanations for this, you may consider. For instance, consider the abrupt ending as a matter of fact in universe—since the author himself is a character, why not his own creation? Especially as the author himself was seen in the flash. The ending may be more of a reflection on him, or on the characters who were audacious enough to interact with their effective god. Why did he choose not to elaborate more on the ending - or was it even an option?

>Know that there also remains the possibility that the ending simply goes to point out that this wasn't an adventure centering on the cathartic journey of the protagonist, that they were not the true focus of the plot. The story starts and ends in the same universe, though with differing starting conditions. Homestuck may have always dwelled more on the Home than those who were Stuck in it—and indeed, did we not see the full cycle of life and death that make up the mythos surrounding the entire main conflict of the comic? The characters very well may have just been a vessel of which to perform this dance of epic proportions.

>Consider in addition that Homestuck was not just a story of John's world, but a story of your world. One of the most fundamental differences between Homestuck and other webcomics was from the very beginning its interactivity, taking the autogenerative nature already imbued in art to its logical conclusion. Combining this point with the idea that the author, giving himself mortality in the story, may have committed a sort of "Suicide of the Author," consensually giving up the reigns of the story to its readers. The destination of Homestuck may not truly matter as much as its journey, as it became a framework to incite passion in a wide-reaching community. In fact, it is entirely possible the true gift of Homestuck was the concrete effect—of friendships and ambitions on top of the usual enlightenment—on its audience. The friends you made along the way.

>Simplify matters, as a suggestion, and delve deeper into the details. The loose ends you worry so much about may in reality be tighter than you assume. If you just followed the story closer, examined characters motives and actions as they proceeded into the penultimate act, the true answer of the canonical fate of the protagonists may have revealed itself to you. This webcomic may have been an overly long exercise in investigation, in enamorment, in dedicating yourself to a strange universe to figure out its rules, with the fruit of a true satisfaction at the end.

>Or continue to be a spiteful no-fun lame-o. Your pick.
