UNPOPULAR OPINIONS TIME: Good Omens is one of Pratchett's weakest books, and it's because he's a better writer and storyteller than Gaiman.

That said I like The Sandman and Neverwhere but I never could get into any other Neil Gaiman. I read American Gods and it was all a bit meh.

Outside of Good Omens, all I've read by Gaiman is a collection of short stories, but I wasn't particularly impressed by it. Don't even remember the name.

Pratchett's weaker books are clearly the first two and a few of the ones after that but still near the start of his writing career

So I crocheted a Shuckle recently, and there's a Chandelure pinned to my couch which'll give me something to do this evening.

Also up for future projects would be the likes of Aron, Trapinch, Tropius, Breloom, Surskit, Combee, and Kabuto (that's just a bunch that caught my eye while I was trawling bulbapedia). Any other recommendations? (It mostly depends on the colours I have available at the time, though anything particularly inspiring'll make me go out and hunt down some wool).

And another question: I'm tossing up maybe taking commissions for these things, although I can consider a bunch of issues with doing that. How would I go about it? Set up a paypal? Is that how you barter on the internet?

Schazer if you are really interested in commissioning the pokecrochet (and i would toss my money in your direction AFTER I GET SOME >:C <also after i get a few things like indie games and muzac and some sweet Anime Club Merch>) I would suggest opening up a paypal account and to set up commishionings!
Tumblr would be a good outlet for getting things out and asking bluuuuuuuuuueberry for a signal boost after you get some poke's out would probably work very well as she has a lot of peeps who follow her :v.
I would think that you could also get away with a thread on the mspa art forum as long as you have a little "if you want a bugger email me here at ___" but I think you'd have to ask lexxy or blueblue first :v

As irresponsible as I'd feel encouraging illegal behaviour (like defaming dead presidents by wearing masks of their faces while engaging in un-American activities like pointing guns and demanding people put all the money in the sack before you blow someone's brains out), a Chimecho is now definitely on the list. I've got a Kabuto and Chandelure quietly sneaking toward completion, so it may actually take me a while to get onto it. Nonetheless, I'd definitely make my own one first as a proof of concept, if you will, before I made an additional one I'd be potentially cool with shipping out.
