"uh, is that a pangolin?"
Is what I thought, and what prompted me to go back and re-read looking for any pangolin related content I may have missed.
Turns out I did, and that alt-text is still a thing I should check!
Also I don't know if I should cheer the ecologically responsible choice of substituting a toy for an actual exotic pet, or shake my head at Daisy not sucking it up, popping a claritin, and purchasing a real wild animal to sleep with uncaged at night.
Either way, I continue to be a huge fan of your work Plaid!
(I am secretly hoping for more pangolin though.)

The alt text is never anything important, so you're not missing much :v
Fun fact: the alt text for that page originally just said pangolin instead of pangolin toy, then i thought wait no someone will assume she has an actual exotic pet. :B

If the comic needs additional material to understand then you're making in wrong, imo

I could see a few nifty ways to implement alt-text as worldbuilding and the like, but if you're going to make the alt-text a part of better understanding the comic, you had better it written down somewhere that mobile users can read it too. I've seen some sites have a button that you can click to reveal the alt-text if you can't see it by hovering.

I intend to mostly put in dumb jokes or probably how many tears went into the page, so yeah. I think my coder might cry if i ask her to change anything so i might just... Leave it

I love this reboot (and cannot wait to see the dream world!) but what's up with the website? It doesn't seem to work right now.

The hosting site fell over for a little bit, apparently? Should be fine now.

Is it weird that as soon as I saw the diary my ADVENTURE SENSE piqued up and made me want to give adventure commands?

i learned in economics that that is quite a reasonable thing to do, as money is a reasonable unit of account. Basically, you use money to measure how much you have to pay for something relative to how much you pay for something else.

and then, to defy anyone's expectation of what you're going to do with it,

You say that like we didn't go through a phase of ordering adventure protagonists to eat any old thing lying around.
