The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)

The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)

RE: The 3am thread
It's not 3 am nor the right thread but thank you! I should be glad i accomplished a thing.

E: And i am! I just don't have strong feelings on the matter, the whole experience was very draining but not in a terrible way.

It is and i didn't reply before because i follow the rules and had to wait until i was awake at 3am and remembered i had to reply here, i felt bad enough breaking the rule once already!

More 3am thoughts: i am very worried about money and i haven't done anything at all during my first week of winter break so i'm trying hard to not get super lazy and spiral into depression, i need to get ready to open commissions.

No, see, this is the metaphorical 3 AM thread for responding to things in the actual 2 AM thread without waiting for 2 AM to roll around.

I mean, you're not banned from 3 AM posting but it's not the main intent here.

RE: The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)
we should make a thread that you can only post in when it's not 3 am

hm you're right, we need a thread you can post in any time it is neither 2 nor 3 am. you know, to clear up confusion

RE: The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)
Let's simplify this and have a thread nobody can post in.

RE: The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)
we already do, it has no posts and no title

Man, fuck that. You're still wicked cute, Plaid. I'm sorry some people gotta be shitty because of their own hangups, but remember that their dumb words only reflect on them, not you.

Huh. When did the title of this thread get changed?

RE: The 3am thread (or: the respond to 2am thread thread)
It looks like it was changed around the time someone got confused and thought that they could only post in this thread at 3 am

Yeah, I was more being surprised at the fact I never actually noticed until I went looking for it to reply this time; it's pretty easy to go back and see when exactly it got changed by looking at individual post titles. I am a dumb.

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't notice until you pointed it out either.

It does, actually. I feel like I consistently miss things that are obvious to every other person.

I changed the title when it had slipped a wee way down the page too, I think.

Tonight there could be no 2 AM posts from America thanks to DST.

Unrelated, but DST is a terrible thing and should not exist.

I recognize that daylight savings time is total bullshit, but I've never been able to have a strong enough personal opinion on it to really care much. This is despite the fact that last night I set my alarm to get up for work during the hour that we did not get it, and that such was quite late because my clock set itself automatically and I didn't realize it would.

That seems like something that should be auto-detected. You should probably sue your phone.

So why don't we just let DST run all year long then? I'd have that extra hour of sunlight at 4 PM in January rather than at 7 AM anyway.

Plus if we don't have to change the clocks, then we don't always have to have this conversation twice a year about something that everyone in the world clearly hates but never bothers to do anything about.

Why not just destroy the sun?
