Favorite Pokémon Posting & Debate Thread

This is probably the first time you've seen me post in the "real world", so hello everyone!

On that note, this is a thread where you can post your favorite Pokémon, your reason why and then get angry at other people for not having the same favorite one as yours or they have a terrible favorite Pokémon.

Mine would have to be Snivy 'cause B/W was the first "main" Pokémon game I picked up (aside from PMD Blue) and the guy was my starter so how I could not like him and his lil' smug grin?

The only Pokemon game I've ever finished is Blue, and my favorite in that is Gyarados.

are gen 7 pokemon allowed or nah

in case they aren't, my favourites of the first six generations are trubbish and tangela, and by extension their evolutions. my reasoning is that trubbish is a garbage bag with glass teeth, and that tangela is, for the most part, a largely undefined head with a bunch of vines around it. garbodor and tangrowth, while not as good as their base forms in my opinion, do a really good job of being natural progressions of the two

Runners up include Starly, because I like it's noise (Also the bird with the music note head), Magikarp because it's face is so stupid and I love it, and Far Fetch'd because it's a serious business bird with a leek.

From what I've seen Sun's version exclusives are cooler imo? I myself preordered Moon before much info came out, as befits a proper edgelord
