Good News Everyone!!! (The joysplosion thread)

I totally get that feeling, though I haven't started presenting in public yet outside of growing out my hair. I dress up and wear makeup occasionally at home on the weekends and it's A+++

yeah, i mean

i've been out online for years, but i wasn't in a safe place to do anything and it was just miserable. now that i'm able to do things irl i'm having trans feelings that are actually positive, when before it always just kind of sucked

like on top of just feeling like myself there's so much catharsis

plus i was just sort of going through the motions until recently, i was much more emotionally numb. i feel alive for the first time since i was a kid

i mean there's still some bad feelings, especially when i stop to shower and junk, but i never expected that just doing clothes and makeup would have this much of an impact on me. i'm definitely excited about taking the next steps

I'm going to finish it! I have a couple paragraphs / 1 page left!!!

After printing out my Essay 3 times due to various printer errors, I finally have a copy I can submit. Hope my teacher likes pink, because my printer also ran out of black.

But it's done! I am free!!!!

Well, I managed to get a local job at Office MaxDepotStoreWhatever, focusing on technical stuff. It's better than nothing, but I'm still looking for an actual meteorology job.

I know a lot of people are feeling like things are rough right now, and I'm right there with you.

But, at this moment... I'm really appreciating all my good friends, who are so supportive in these hard times.

I'm crying right now. For good reasons.

i guess it hasn't felt quite real enough, or i'm afraid it's going to end prematurely so i keep not-talking about it in case i'd have to go "oops nevermind i messed up"

but i got a job!
today was my third day, i'm still training
it's a seasonal position, gift-wrapping in a little department store in my town.
it's gonna get hectic and busy, because i'm being hired to provide complimentary gift-wrap during the holiday season, but i'm super glad anyway.
