LUDUM DARE AUGUST 2016 2016

A bunch of my friends are getting together this weekend to participate in LUDUM DARE 36, a game jam event where participants have 48 hours to make a game and then submit them!!

Technically my team participating in the compo, which is 72 hours (3 days), and allows for groups of people, as well as the use of preexisting assets. The JAM is only 48 hours long, can only be entered by teams of ONE (1) singular person, and ALL ASSETS USED must be original and created within the allotted time! It's a very challenging challenge and hoo boy am I not going to challenge that, at least until i know i can create more than this monstrosity in less than a month.

All in all I can't wait to see the turd of a game that my college friends shit out by the time Monday night rolls around. A-helllll yeah.

I guess it's a little bit of both. I was trying to make it look like it was breaking due to the punch by the red guy, but eh. I have other things and I don't want to redraw it; it doesn't look that great rotated either.

The end is in sight but I'm breaking down. we have just 10.5 hours to drop in all the levels we designed together with all the assets we now have. And I need to make sound effects. Oh my god, I have to make sound effects.
