So I'm in an accommodation building next to a river, just upstream from a weir. On the other side it's mostly just the road, but there's a fenced-off section of grass where there's a bridge for access to some lighting equipment and utilities for the adjacent tourist centre.

Three guys have just jumped the fence. With a dinghy. And a picnic. They're going to have some fun, I take it, especially if they put that thing in the river.

Here is a HOT TIP:
Shave in the shower, and ditch the shaving cream. Just use the hot water running down your face. It's scary at first, since your first instinct will be that this cannot possibly work AND you aren't likely gonna have a mirror in your shower, (or if you do for some reason, I can only assume it's all fogged up while you're doing this,) so you're going in blind. But it's okay! Just take it slow and use your other hand to guide the blade with your sense of touch.

In my experience, this works disgustingly well with a cartridge razor. You won't cut yourself at all, and you won't have to deal with shaving cream, and you'll get a pretty good shave with significantly less fuss and time expenditure. Mine was a cheap semi-disposable Bic razor, too, not a nice one or anything.
Then I got a safety razor, and that hasn't worked as well in the shower - but I might be due to have another go at that, now that I'm more used to it.

^ This works especially well if your razor has one of those little aloe strips.
