You take the platter - and it's real silver, how nice! The islands joining together has put you right in the middle of all the landmarks, and you can see the barren island starting to grow plants from the sudden influx of rain. The town is nearby, as well, and it looks like everyone's closed up shop and gone inside.

You now have a silver serving platter!

You still need a destination, though - and you've gotta keep exploring, too. There's gotta be a way off this island chain...and you've gotta be close to figuring out how to move on!

Check out the barren island, since that's the main new thing that stands out.

Alright! That now overgrown area looks pretty inviting...but you do decide to wait a few minutes, just in case.

Several minutes later, it's still raining, but that huge, black shadow in the clouds is starting to reappear. Yeah, it's time to not be out in the open. You don't want to be that thing's dinner. Breakfast? It's hard to tell with the rain. Regardless, you speed your way into the now heavily overgrown field.

Oh, that's neat. It's a little grotto that's sheltered from the rain by overgrown leafs and branches. There's a few large, green fruits on the ground, with darker green stripes. Some sort of melon that grows due to water. Like a...water melon.

In the middle of the grotto is a tree that looks like it's made from intertwined pieces of smooth wood and vines that wrap up into the ceiling. There's also something that's not at all pleased with the intrusion.

You're being confronted by a four legged monster with the head of a fish, and the body of a squat, hooved creature. It seems to have been devouring the fruit whole, and it's not keen on sharing.

If you want shelter, and possibly melons, you're going to have to deal with this thing.

You decide to try diplomacy!

Oh boy.

As the fish monster approaches, you let out a series of odd bloops and gurgles, in an attempt to communicate with it. This continues for a moment, even after it realizes you smell and taste of fruits, and attempts to devour you whole. Unfortunately for it, you're full of arrowheads, and are immediately launched back out by a now even more irritated carpstronsity. Unfortunately, it seems to have swallowed some of the seeds you were given.

Well, that didn't seem to work, but it's considerably less likely to try to devour you again.

It doesn't seem able or willing to communicate.

From the sounds outside, the Centipede Dragon is currently directly over the dome of vines you're in.

The scent of watermelon fills the air.
