Standing here, The way ahead's becoming clear
All across these new frontiers
In my hands I hold the ones I love
Walk forward through the cold dawn
Always to new horizons

A book exists somewhere.
Elsewhere, its brethren call.
What measure is a book?
Is it defined by meters or yards?

That had lines of five, seven, and five syllables. It was supposed to say roughly, "Guessing forum posts' rules: difficult."

WWWJDIC says 典 means "ceremony; celebration; law code" when pronounced one way or "rule; law" when pronounced another way. Google Translate translates it as "scripture." What is the truth??

Definitely passes Rule 4.
I hadn't considered non-English languages up to now; I'm going to say that this passes Rule 2 based on what the next post informs me about it, but if I don't get that clarifying information on other foreign-language posts, I can't guarantee I'll be able to say anything about them.

This post passes rules 2 and 4.
Reminder: my initial post this round passed Rule 3.

Is it correct that post #2882 passes rule 2?

The meantime.
But what is a meantime? In my experience, time is cruel and awful, but also really mentally arousing and most definitely not "mean."
For example, time is like the coolest thing to ever happen, by default, because time is happening. Happening as a noun and a verb. Because it's happening, and it also embodies the concept of happening.
I'm aware that this isn't very profound, but I wanted to were a sizable post instead of copying a bunch of text from somewhere.
Hugs and kisses.

This post passes rule 4. I do not have enough information to say if it passes rule 2. It definitely fails the others.

This post passes rule 4, and the answer to the question posed therein is "yes".

The first five counting numbers are one, two, three, four, and five.
This is a post on the forum.
I would say, "This is a post on this forum. I hope it passes more than one rule." This is another sentence.
