I like fencing swords an' buster swords, I think. The former 'cos those combat styles tend to be identifiably distinct from most other sword types, and the latter because it is the superlative of a sword. Anything in between feels too blasé at this point thanks to media oversaturation, unless you're going for something bizarre like the seven-branched sword, but if you want bizarre swords are probably not where you should be looking. Chain weapons, imo.
