It’s pretty nostalgic and cool. Keep it up.
Also yes make a Webcomic squad. Let's drag a bunch of oldtimes-posters from the depths and see how many we can cram into this clowncar of a thread as possible.
(also sort of a continuation of the conversation on tumblr and probably irc right now? tumblr is hard for having a multi-speakers-at-a-time conversation)

Okay but realistically. For webcomic things, we just need a single subform: each one could have a single thread, plus a general discussion thread and probably the odd help me how do i panel this scene thread and the like
A lot like original mspafa but less anal about thread organisation probably

I'm seeing it like a bunch of threads could crop up to support a gangbunch, so the question is "do we scatter those amongst the existing subfora or rearrange things"
Any number of threads that are discussions about technical processes (anything from "what software do you guys recommend" to "should I write the entire script beforehand or let it unwind as I work through it", I guess like MSPAFA General Chat thread is now?)
People with individual projects can make their own darn threads for 'em, and then make additional threads/split off topics as required.
So far we have artists, craftists, game-makers, writers, webcomickers, and musicians putting their stuff on here, and they mostly fit nicely into Projects.
E: Ok so Plaid posted, what if we renamed Projects to.... something, stickied some discussion threads for technical aspects, and let people request subforums if their personal endeavours end up spanning several threads?

We could just have another subform off of projects, yes. That seems like the least amount of work for everyone?

That makes sense to me dude! So like projects for things that aren't really set in stone and the other one for stuff that's established?

I have literally Jack and Shit to do at work today so I'm happy to shuffle threads around?
My 5c: Projects should be renamed into Mediawarks General, so multi-thread projects like Fortuna can later apply for their own subforum
This would make for a weird subforum full of games and book drafts and albums and webcomics, but then individual mediums could be handled with their own stickied chat thread?

my thought: Projects stays the same.
Mediawarks becomes its own subforum and the hub of ongoing-webcomics ie. fortuna. Everything related to webcomics or even asking advice about webcomics or forum adventures is also in mediawarks.
scratch'at i have no idea what i'm talking about

this sounds good. Mediawarks can be renamed "The Fortuna Fanhub". Or something else. Idk what would be appropriate, i don't read Fortuna

Just for clarification, can I have a show of hands: are folks wanting a webcomics-specific subforum? (into which the Fortuna sub-subforum would then get shifted), or are y'all ok with a subforum for all kinds of thing-make, webcomics included but also games/prose/other things which are a project which will eventually get published (in some capacity or another)?

I don't think it would be terribly redundant, just another place to hang out and talk to people. Like the Silver Crew blog seems like an news hub kind of like what I was tryna do with AdventureCast and ET is like "this is the place we kick it sometimes"
Also I'm p okay with like a melting pot of things happening, personally.

I would personally prefer a webcomic specific subform just because it seems like we have a few of them going or about to go?

For me the question isn't about mixed-media so much as whether it's a good idea to have the subforum for Big Projects That May Want Their Own Forums to be the same as the one for Little Things I Want To Show People.
I mean, that's pretty much how it works right now and it's fine, but if Big Projects are going to become more of a thing that might not work so well.
I don't really have an opinion on this at the moment, it's just something that I find my thoughts wandering to.
Other than that matter, I think my preference would be the general forum for thing-making.

My username is still flawless and perfect.
edit: btw I'd totally like to make a webcomic to contribute to the site endeavor, but I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to do it soon. I have a few other projects that I'm working on in the meantime.

Ok! I'm gonna go ahead and make a new subforum (Webcomickers' Corner, title as always to be up for grabs).
If there are particular threads people would like ported over to the new joint, I'm gloriously directionless at my desk for the rest of the day at work so I'm happy to shuffle things around.
E: we can argue subforums and organisational structure later, for now let's, while the iron is hot
