Yet Another Frivolous Lynch Votals

A Waste Of Everyone's Time - 7 (Mirdini, bigro, Palamedes, Granolaman, Paranoia, SupahKiven, TehPilot)

Everyone gathers around and calls for the head of Ghost Fogel. This proves to be rather difficult, as it's not easy to get a noose around an intangible ghost, but eventually it somehow works out.

However, it turns out that while Fogel's ghost was letting out the dead spirits of Jesterland, he was also holding back a great evil sealed in the Jester Underworld. With his spiritual demise, there is nothing holding it back from the gateway to the world beyond.

All the dead jesters hurry back to the Jester Underworld, figuring it's a lot safer than this place is going to be when the great evil emerges tomorrow morning. Nice going, everyone.

It is now night. I hope you enjoy the terror that you've wrought.

Please note, day will be starting in the next 24 hours; I just have to actually write the daystart flavor. Be ready, jesters!

It has been a long night. Everyone awakens, wary of the great evil that is about to arise.

While they’re all staring at the portal and waiting to see what comes through, someone notices Granolaman’s body lying in the street.

Granolaman was the Gunjester, who had been selected to do the Mafia’s killing. However, he was far too lazy to do the killing himself, so instead he handed guns out to everyone else.

Each night, Granolaman could give someone a gun, which would turn their night action into a kill. His greatest wish was that his actions would lead to his own downfall, and so he would win if someone shot him with a gun he handed out.

At a glance, it looks like that’s what happened, but no one can say for sure. Except Fogel, and he was lynched twice, so don’t expect him to be in the mood to share.

Granolaman was a member of the Mafia.

Everyone is in shock, mostly that a member of the Mafia actually died - can that even happen in a Jester game?

Before they can discuss or even speculate, however, a horrifying beast emerges from the portal to the Underworld.

“JESTERS,” the beast sneers. “I THOUGHT I SMELLED SOMETHING FUNNY.”

It then swallows Granolaman’s corpse, and glares at the gathered crowd.

“THIS MEAL WILL SATIATE ME FOR THE DAY,” the beast growls. “ BUT IF YOU WISH TO REST WELL TONIGHT, YOU WILL FEED ME AGAIN WITH YOUR LYNCH VICTIM. AND I WILL NOT TAKE KINDLY TO ATTEMPTS TO LYNCH ME, OR TO LYNCH A CONCEPT, OR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT HERE. IF ONE OF YOU DOES NOT DIE TODAY TO FEED ME, THERE WILL BE DIRE CONSEQUENCES.”

Having issued its warning, the beast silently watches, and waits.

As everyone looks around awkwardly, trying not to stare too hard at the enormous monster, they notice two additional things.

First, SupahKiven has “ICan’tGiveCredit” tattooed on his palm.

Second, Coldblooded has a flashing neon sign on his back that says “LYNCH ME I’M SCUM”.

EVENT!

Mirdini rushes up to Palamedes and tries to tackle him.

However, the attempt is rather clumsy, and doesn't work very well. Mirdini knocks Palamedes over, and Pala falls onto Mirdini.

They get up a short while later, mostly unharmed; however, it seems they've both pulled their voting muscles and are unable to vote for the remainder of the day.

Mirdini and Palamedes have lost their votes. All votes have been reset, which is just to allow people to consider this new information, and totally not in any way an excuse for me not to bother counting them.

With 9 eligible to vote, it takes 5 to lynch.
