Such is not a life that will fulfill you.

I serve you far better then to let you choke on meaningless satiation of your impulses.

A pointless and endless grind of retelling to batter your soul with the hopelessness of defiance in me?

That is not what you want.

Such a life would embitter you as this one has.

It would be an endless parade of failures.

Your mind is not one that is served by such.

There will be opportunity to oppose injustice though.

Your pride and strength would leave you listless if there were not such wrongs for you to right.

And knowledge and love yes.

That will be a start.

Perhaps some lows to highlight and brighten your triumphs?

There was nothing of value to anyone left to be disturbed on that world.

And it would surprise you how much of what was is valued by some one.

I have preserved morning dew on a single leaf.

For that captured the perfect moment for an old grandmother.

She is of course young as would suit her now.

But the way light plays in the dew and the woods?

the smell of old rotten logs and brooks lightly tainted by an unknown coal seam?

This was a treasured perfect moment for her.

It is now part of forever, it will be there for her and so many other things for so many others.

I have even saved things for yourself as well.

A collection of moments that you will treasure.

I have long since sent my vision out beyond the reach of others. There were preparations needed to ensure that those last such as you were preserved.

Simply resting in peaceful comfort on the grass was great but young limbs twitch and you are no longer weary.

No longer aching.

No longer tired.

Energy hums fresh and new in your body.

You arise to look upon the world around you.

In the distance there is a sign of some great spire.

A single point of fixation in the empty clear blue of the sky and the receding green flatness of the grasses.







You can feel the impulses that had lead to your current state, brash ones.

You could just sit here and watch the world all you like.

But eventually you are going to have to move.




WHAT ACTION DO YOU TAKE

Head towards the spire, why not.

Amble. Wonder. Examine.

Eat some grass.

Even longer delay then last one.

But now it is continuing.

It has been a very long time since you have eaten anything proper.

And to be perfectly honest given how much you had mused on the possibility of simply accepting Her offer for a feast this verdant and lush field of grass is a bit disappointing.

Or it would be if there was not a tickling in your mind that it smells rather refreshing and tempting.

Is that just the long ages with nothing but gray dust to catch on the scent?

You find yourself at a loss as a fact of life seems to have some how gone missing.

Was grass something that you had eaten before?







To be fair there is nothing abhorrent you feel about it.

Although the posture is unfamiliar.

Then again all the postures are unfamiliar.

It is her body or something shaped like it that you now wear.

But her form was an abstraction of elegance.

She never had to eat.

You are not entirely sure she was ever actually anything but a mirage invoked in your mind to get you to accept this.

You don't exactly feel hunger either.

But at the same time the desire to taste fresh food is strong.

Still disconcerting that you can't recall if grass was a thing you ever felt was edible.

Or for that matter not.

In fact there is a curious absence of specifics for you to recall on much of anything exact regarding diet.

What were those feasts going to be of?






Well the grass is very pleasant.

Culinary memory gaps aside its very refreshing and just slightly sweet.

Very rich in juiciness that feels almost like a mingling of clear pristine water with hints of flavor and just the slightest bit of texture to give a hint of satisfaction in chewing it and then swallowing.

Really quite pleasant but not the most satisfying experience regarding food you expect.

Although exactly what you are expecting that would be better is left as a tickling emptiness in your attempts to recall it.

She obviously has done things to you since your arrival.

It is rather eerie actually.

But also hard to be disturbed by it.

Probably because She made it so that you would not find it COMPLETELY disturbing.

But then why let it be disturbing at all?







Well there is nothing to make any direction different from another besides the rising tower.

And nothing that seems to be changing as you mull on the grass.

And to be honest the grass feels satisfying in a sense of food and drink.

Really is Pleasant but not anything like the paradise you were expecting from all of her promises.

Time to Start your Journey you suppose.





WHAT IS THE FIRST CHALLENGE YOU ENCOUNTER
?

A random hostile jelly blob encounter. It's tradition, after all.

That came upon you rather suddenly.

Although its not exactly surprising that it did.

Although why the entire world would be replaced with abstract representation of a feudal warzone you are not sure.

The tower continues to beckon ahead of you.





However beyond the strangeness of the terrain is the strangeness of the first inhabitants you are to meet.

Once again promises of paradise seem to be falling a bit short.

Maybe this is some kind of punishment

What are these tiny gooey things supposed to represent for you

?

They snarl and sputter randomly at one another.

You don't really have the heart to be disgusted by them.

It is sort of pitiful really.




WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THIS CHALLENGE
?

Move the goo blobs around! Do they interact with each other? Are they laid out in a pattern?

Step on them.

Ignore them.

Push them all away from each other so that they won't have anything to fight about anymore.
