Zeke continued is ascent alone, he had moved outside, just for a change of scenary. It wasn't like he was going to be doing much else. He glanced up, some 25M up he could see the illusionist, slowly making his way up.

Zeke figured if he kept up his pace he could catch up to him. Hhe wanted some...'words' with him.

Itzal glanced down and saw Zeke climbing towards him. The warrior was much faster than Itzal. It looked around and found a nearby ledge, and climbed up to it. If it had to encounter this man again it wanted to do it on solid ground. Solid ground that he had prepared, that is. It didn't want to try anything too dangerous, the situation was too precarious to try something like that. No, it wanted insurance. It spread flash powder around on the ledge, and wedges a few smoke bombs in the cracks. It finished the setup, satisfied it would be sufficient to allow its escape. It then went to a nearby tunnel and placed mirrors to mask its entrance. Returning to the ledge, it examined its handwork. The passage was practically indistinguishable at first glance. There was another, obvious tunnel, a short distance away. Deciding that there was not enough misdirection at work, it adjusted the mirrors to make the tunnel almost hidden, but it would be visible to someone with keen enough senses. Satisfied, Itzal took out a pair of daggers for defense, and waited.

Whit felt rested enough. He got up and exited, and stood on a ledge on the side of the hoodoo opposite to Zeke and Itzal. Looking down, he saw that the fog was much higher than before. Was it rising faster? Whit needed to get to the top, or at least close to it. he looked up. Above him, the top was still distant, but Whit could make out what seemed like a tip. It seemed to him to be roughly 100 meters away. He began to climb again.

"All right, that's enough hiding." Grimm looked out the side of the tunnel, and no one was looking at him, but he saw Whit. He climbed out and went around a bit to the left so that he wouldn't be seen in case of an attack, and started to climb again.

"...and thats why im alive!...I think...Maybe?"

"I never asked you." Zeke gritted his teeth as he took a gander at the unconcious Gadget. "Why is he asleep?"

"Oh, I think it is something to do with this big ol' crystal, I'd imagine he can do more that two without falling asleep."

Zeke pondered this fact. He could effectively kill Gadget right here, it wasn't like this robot could defend him. Zeke shook the thought off, he came to a better conclusion to his problem. He stops on one of the ledges.

"Why'd we stop?"

"Whats your name?"

"...Llyod, why?"

"Lloyd..." Zeke deployed his blades "it's nothing personal..."
With a hyper quick motion Zeke moved past Gadget, almost as if he went through him, Llyod's arms go limp as it screams metalically, its LED's slowly dim out as it quietens. Gadgets body slumps down on the ledge.

"...but I want to win."

and with that, Zeke calmy continued climbing.

Current distance 44M

Gadget shot awake as the LED on Lloyd completely went dim.
"Waugh! That... oh," Gadget knew what the sudden jolt meant, and looked sadly at Lloyd. Killed before even having much of a life,"Never even knew your name. I bet Whir knew it."
At saying that, another realization dawned on him. He was completely alone! Looking up he could see Zeke steadily climbing, and looking down there were a few specks of presumably people, and he was a lot higher than before. Without any help, however, he wasn't getting any further.

He stared up at Zeke. Most likely the reason for his companion's demise, but one thing didn't seem right. Gadget was the competition, and being unconscious, could have been easily dispatched. Why was his 'escort' killed instead? As much of a villain that Zeke seemed to be at the time, there was obviously some humanity there.

Gadget noticed that the ledge he was on went inside the mountain, and decided to head in to see if it may be easier to climb on the other side. By looking down he saw something different, and more comforting. They weren't very close yet, but they were approaching.

"Hey, Cobra, I think that's Gadget up there!"

Itzal waited patently for Zeke to arrive. IT didn't like the lack of progress, but it needed to meet Zeke on its terms, not hanging off a giant crystal. It crossed its arms and stood patiently.

Cobra looked over at Whir. He was still a bit disoriented from hitting his head, and he barely made out what he had said.

"What was that again?"

Damn you're incompetent! I SAI Look, there's Gadget up there! Stupid dog..."

Well damn, I'm sorry I hit my head on a rock after falling upwards of 15 meters downward!"

Cobra transformed into his half wolf form so he could ascend more quickly. The fog was rising, and he didn't want to find out exactly what happened when he was engulfed by it.

"Hm, that fog is rising, and rather fast too, it might even catch up with me, and I'm not sure if I want that to happen. I better pick up the pace, and I think I know how...." Grimm jumped into the air, off the hoodoo, and spread out his shadows, much like a flying squirrel from Earth. The wind carried him upwards, and he was going faster than he was before. "Hah! If I'm not on this pillar, then my powers aren't drained!"

This one is weakened.
This one also.
The rock.
Yes, I agree.
Push on? Kill?
Hold back? Avoid?
The boy. They will attack us because of him.
He stirs.
Yes...

"Ugh" Mike groaned, attempting to roll over onto his back. His eyes attempted to adjust to his surroundings, and his mind traced his last thoughts.
Zeke, and a fight. A fight that he LOST.
Mike cursed under his breath. This rock had sapped away at his power, leaving him to have to learn how to use his vectors all over again.
He crawled out out, out into the outside area. As he gazed down, he was very surprised to see how high up he was.
"Ooohohohohoho! What did I miss?" He muttered to himself.
It didn't dawn on him until that point that he didn't feel alone. In more than one way.
He was now aware that he could hear something... It was a sound that he could recognise, but only very slightly.
Almost as if he had heard it before.
He shrugged it off, and attempted to figure out the second feeling. It was as if there were more than one person controling his actions.
"How strange"
He gazed around, and saw a black shape floating around in the air, below him, and slightly around the side of the Hoodoo.
He noticed it's familiar look. And then, an idea.
"He can fly? And off of the rock... I see, I finally get it. Ha, aha, haha. This, changes a few things."
Uneknownst to him, a rock had dislodged above him, for an unkown reason. Just as it was about to crash into his head, the vectors came out, rammed into the rock, and balanced it with difficulty untill it passed over him and continued its decent down into the path of an oncoming contestant.
It was Whit.
Two things presented themselves to Mike. One: His vectors had acted of their own accord. He moved them down towards the front of his body to examine them, and they obeyed.
The feeling of not being alone... His vectors, had grown their own consciousness.
Maybe more that one.
"Hmph. Lets get one thing clear. I wanna WIN! I die, and you're through, got it?!"
He felt angry, and yet he could not understand why. He felt as though his existance had been mocked, as if his fate was not his own.
Whatever the case, the second point was that whit was about to recieve a large rocky surprise on his climb.
Mike continued his climb after the others.

Zeke climbed alone for quite some time, he forgot to pace himself and as a result was pretty tired. He climbed into a nearby tunnel so that he could have a small break.

Current distance 63 M, outside, same tunnel as Itzal.
