Zeke pondered this fact. He could effectively kill Gadget right here, it wasn't like this robot could defend him. Zeke shook the thought off, he came to a better conclusion to his problem. He stops on one of the ledges.
"Why'd we stop?"

"...Llyod, why?"
"Lloyd..." Zeke deployed his blades "it's nothing personal..."
With a hyper quick motion Zeke moved past Gadget, almost as if he went through him, Llyod's arms go limp as it screams metalically, its LED's slowly dim out as it quietens. Gadgets body slumps down on the ledge.
"...but I want to win."
and with that, Zeke calmy continued climbing.

Whir has a propeller, but he isn't allowed to die because I consider him almost as important a character as Gadget. On a side note that doesn't really effect much right now, his creations only live off of him for a few hours. Whir was created years ago, and his life is his own. So really, one creation was enough to do him in with this crystal. I'm just being overly nitpicky here, and Lloyd's explanation can easily be written off as he was still learning.
See, when one is created, it doesn't instantly know everything. It knows a lot right off the bat, proper mannerisms, the current situation, speech, stuff like that. However, the rest of the information it learns just slowly trickles in while it lives off of Gadget. It's not an instant thing.
I'm rambling. Back to the original point I was trying to make.
Basically when Gadget creates a new being, you can consider it expendable, for the most part.

At saying that, another realization dawned on him. He was completely alone! Looking up he could see Zeke steadily climbing, and looking down there were a few specks of presumably people, and he was a lot higher than before. Without any help, however, he wasn't getting any further.
He stared up at Zeke. Most likely the reason for his companion's demise, but one thing didn't seem right. Gadget was the competition, and being unconscious, could have been easily dispatched. Why was his 'escort' killed instead? As much of a villain that Zeke seemed to be at the time, there was obviously some humanity there.
Gadget noticed that the ledge he was on went inside the mountain, and decided to head in to see if it may be easier to climb on the other side. By looking down he saw something different, and more comforting. They weren't very close yet, but they were approaching.
"Hey, Cobra, I think that's Gadget up there!"

Spoileraand... the top of the Hoodoo suddenly seems a lot closer to Itzal. That's right, we reached the top! It's 75m from where y'all started.
The top of the Hoodoo is flat, and is about ten metres from the outer wall to the inner wall. That gives plenty of space to fight on. The whole thing is about 50m in diameter, so there's a hole 30m wide in the middle. Don't fall in this. Bad plan.
There's no tunnels or holes in the top of the tower, it's reasonably flat-topped. However the walls leading up to it aren't too crazy steep, so it's safe enough to clamber down and maybe hide in a tunnel if you think you're too exposed.
Meanwhile, the fog. Similar to the count-down in round 2 of GBI, it's rising at a rate of... say... 1m per two posts. This'll speed up as more people reach the top.If your post is taking quite a while, make it rise more. Just be sensible and that'll mean we can all be more organic about it rather than me setting rigid rules. The reserve system will need to be thoroughly respected here, to avoid the fog doing random jigs based on its height.
The Fog starts accelerating up as soon as somebody reaches the top and makes a note of it. At this point you guys have to post how far the fog's climbed to date.
Also, I'm aware some people are lower down, they'll have to get creative with their posts to make sure they survive. But for their benefit don't make it completely impossible for them.

"Ugh" Mike groaned, attempting to roll over onto his back. His eyes attempted to adjust to his surroundings, and his mind traced his last thoughts.
Zeke, and a fight. A fight that he LOST.
Mike cursed under his breath. This rock had sapped away at his power, leaving him to have to learn how to use his vectors all over again.
He crawled out out, out into the outside area. As he gazed down, he was very surprised to see how high up he was.
"Ooohohohohoho! What did I miss?" He muttered to himself.
It didn't dawn on him until that point that he didn't feel alone. In more than one way.
He was now aware that he could hear something... It was a sound that he could recognise, but only very slightly.
Almost as if he had heard it before.
He shrugged it off, and attempted to figure out the second feeling. It was as if there were more than one person controling his actions.
"How strange"
He gazed around, and saw a black shape floating around in the air, below him, and slightly around the side of the Hoodoo.
He noticed it's familiar look. And then, an idea.
"He can fly? And off of the rock... I see, I finally get it. Ha, aha, haha. This, changes a few things."
Uneknownst to him, a rock had dislodged above him, for an unkown reason. Just as it was about to crash into his head, the vectors came out, rammed into the rock, and balanced it with difficulty untill it passed over him and continued its decent down into the path of an oncoming contestant.
It was Whit.
Two things presented themselves to Mike. One: His vectors had acted of their own accord. He moved them down towards the front of his body to examine them, and they obeyed.
The feeling of not being alone... His vectors, had grown their own consciousness.
Maybe more that one.
"Hmph. Lets get one thing clear. I wanna WIN! I die, and you're through, got it?!"
He felt angry, and yet he could not understand why. He felt as though his existance had been mocked, as if his fate was not his own.
Whatever the case, the second point was that whit was about to recieve a large rocky surprise on his climb.
Mike continued his climb after the others.
