i mean, probably there are other trans men here but i wouldn't know who they are. i'm not asking "am i the only one" if that's what you thought i meant

Its okay friend, a lot of us have a case of the genders.

While out eating dinner with folks last night I overheard a small boy at a neighboring table asking his mom "is that person a man or a woman?"

And part of me's like "heck yeah" and another part of me is really hype to be somewhere where I can feel safe and confident explaining to children like that "I'm neither?"

Most people seem confused with me, which is nice but when I have to answer for sure my brain goes into panic mode like 'what do I even tell them and do I have to pick one".

So trans healthcare in NZ has just taken a dive because our only surgeon able to provide gender reassignment surgery has retired in his mid 70s. This bumps the waitlist for the procedure up to 30 years. :l

Kinda old, but this made me really sad when it happened ;-;
