May we indicate whether or not we've edited 199/201 at the bottom of our post without it applying to rule breakage?

I think having a question mark in a quote box breaks Rule 4. I don't claim to understand how.

I will go back and check them if I can, but subsequent judgements will be aided massively if you leave all copies of #201 unaltered.

(I'm going to bed in about ten minutes anyway, so along with the above, which is a terrible hint, here's another: bar my very first "this is post #1" post, all other posts I have made during this ruleset up to now satisfy rule 1 except #211 - they also all violate rule 4, and this is extremely unlikely to change)
