Here's something I just noticed about those Rule 1 posts.

All but one of them immediately followed a post (not counting Sruix's rule-checks_ that violated rules 1-4. This post is the only exception.

Maybe Rule 1 has something to do with the previous post?

Okay. So I found several posts immediately following 1,2,3,4-breaking posts that still broke Rule 1. I guess that's a coincidence.

Oh wait, gom Sruixan wasn't after a 1-4 violation, it was after a 1-3 and 5 violation.

It also doesn't seem to have anything to do with the poster of the previous message, as Bob has gotten successful Rule 1s when I had the last message and when he did. He has also failed Rule 1 in both cases.

I also considered "starts with the final letter of the previous post" but that didn't get me anywhere.
