Vera grabs the knife and puts it back in the holster. Starts to carve her initials into the floor.

The speakers in the cockpit change in tone to a clear, but bored sounding voice. "You want to stop trying to light what ain't gonna be lit?"

Her braid-covered head whips back to the weird ape.

"Back to what we were doing before..."

She charges up a fireball, and lets loose.
