For flavor, Akumu asks for the probability that no one at the party shares a birthday. I give him the actual calculation for that, though I approximate it at the end.

At this point, it's worth clarifying the pie thing.
Para and I weren't on the same page with the pies, and hadn't actually realized it. I was treating them as things that would be delivered in the night, and then used during either the day or the next night. Para was thinking they'd be used the same night, and Slorange assumed the same thing.

I convinced Para to go with my way (though we had "required to use the pie in the next day phase" added to that) and Slorange was granted an extra pie because we hadn't been clear on that and left him thinking he'd redirected to cyber. I hadn't clarified this until after Slorange had gone and made his claim, and he didn't want to fullclaim so he had to keep going with it.

This, obviously, resulted in a lot of confusion when Slorange died before being able to explain what had actually happened.

N2:

Prizes are awarded!

The new players - Akumu, Chwoka, Gnauga, Whimbrel, Truegreen, eberron, bigro, and Dalm - are awarded a "Thanks for playing" prize. It lets them ask me for help once; I try to give advice that's as neutral as possible and doesn't actually give anything away. Newer players can find it tough to get help because other players could be scum trying to manipulate them, so I thought I'd try advising. You can read the QTs yourself if you want to see how that worked out.

Garuru gets the Power Play. If you've somehow forgotten what it did, it let him see all the actions in the last night and who they targeted.

Watts has been writing up entertaining flavor imagining past Mafia games (Clusterfuck and Marvelfia so far) as thrillers. He gets an award that Pilot alluded to: if he gets stuffed into Truegreen's trunk, he'll make a daring escape, and even survive an attack on that night. He's not told anything other than that he might be able to survive under particular circumstances.

Mirdini managed to return just in time to write a delightful history. He's awarded a spoon-polishing, as you all saw.

Dalm has been writing up sci-fi technologies. Her prize is a burst of inspiration. She can write up a story on one of the ideas she's had, and pass it to another player. This never got used and its effect would have depended on the story.

N3:

Slorange gives Palamedes a pie that makes scum sick and makes town glow.
For flavor, Akumu asks for the probability that a pie will contain deadly toxin. (This is actually zero percent, as Slorange's pies can't kill directly.)

Truegreen does nothing, inadvertently not revealing himself as a murderer.

Truegreen is covered in red in the morning flavor.

Slorange is granted the award of throwing the N1 pie post-death, but the lureberries have gone bad so he doesn't know its effect. He does not get access to deadchat until after the pie throw. The pie reveals the names of the pies that Slorange baked; after Power Play, I didn't want anything major.

As you all know, this sequence of events confuses the hell out of everyone and gets even more confusing as I clarify the things I'm able to clarify.

N4:
Schazer and Sotek redirect from Donuts to Seedy.
Agent points revenge kill at Eberron.

For flavor, Akumu asks for the probability that the head editor had a pet guinea pig that's still in the building.

Palamedes kills donuts, gets redirected to Seedy.

N5:
-Schazer and Sotek redirect from Sotek to Whimbrel.
-Donuts checks Coldblooded. Result: Town.
-Akumu asks: "What is the probability of the cops showing up to investigate on the sixth day of a bunch of prominent authors being locked in a building?" I'm not actually sure how to handle this, probably I'll just tell him a rate on the low side and have the sound of sirens in the distance sometime during the day.

-Seedy kills Garuru, fails due to bulletproof.
-Pala checks Sotek, redirected to Whimbrel and he finds the result "playwright".

N6:
-Donut checks Gnauga, which comes up town because he's not recruited yet.
-Schazer and Sotek redirect from Schazer to Dalm.
-Akumu asks for the same event as last night except for the seventh day rather than the sixth.

-Seedy kills Coldblooded, meaning we don't get to see him get empowered. Dang.
-Palamedes checks Garuru.

N7:
-Donut checks Seedy II, who shows up as town due to being godfather.
-Schazer and Sotek redirect from Schazer to Seedy II, nothing happens.
-Akumu asks for the chance of the guinea pig being possessed by the spirit of the dead editor and delivering a portentious warning in a manner appropriate to a guinea pig. This is going to get a very low probability result and the warning will not make any sense. Maybe I'll have it squeak a riddle in Morse Code.

-Pala kills Garuru and checks Sotek, getting the highly implicating result of "romance novels".

N8:
-Schazer and Sotek redirect from Schazer to Seedy II.
-Akumu calculates the probability that a rival publishing house will strike during Iconoclast's moment of weakness.
-Donut checks Pala and actually gets a guilty, but he dies.

-Pala kills Donut and checks Pilot's flavor.

N9:
-Schazer and Sotek redirect from Schazer to Seedy II again, using random.org to decide the redirect-from target
-Akumu calculates the probability that the Conformist guys started a small fire that will turn into a large fire.

-Seedy kills Schazer, getting redirected to herself, game end.
