Maybe it's buried somewhere. Dig?

I suppose it could be buried, but there's an awful lot of ground to dig up. I need some sort of starting point.

Mayhaps a brook?

Well, I suppose I can try it. There's one just outside town. Just a moment...

Ah, here we are! A brook! And now I'll start digging.
