"Oh, wait," you say. "All this time I was just thinking about how members of the crew could help us. Keep forgetting we've got a passenger."
Lex looks puzzled.
"What, the grebling with the plant fixation? How can she help?"
"She doesn't just study plants, she eats them. If we're going to boil up a bunch of onions, maybe she's got something that tastes similar among her seaweed samples."
"Would be hard to get more unless it happens to be stuff that's around here," Lex mutters. "But then, I guess we won't know unless we ask." Then he glances around. "Say, she's staying near Ms. Rebecca's room, isn't she?"
"That's right, because neither of them is a member of the crew."
Lex nods.
"Well, good, because I was just thinking that we need to check in with Billie, who probably hasn't been running around half as much as we have. Unless the carpenter was throwing a party too." He chuckles. "So I figure we should go back and check in before we try anything else."
"Sounds sensible," you agree. "Especially since they're both in the same place."
You start walking back. Somewhere along the way, you hear a lot of noise; probably the party wrapping up. But you aren't near the galley, so you don't actually see anyone leave.
When you get back to the room, you see Billie waiting outside, along with the carpenter, and... wait, who's that third person with them?

There's no reason for this | Or this | Death is inevitable | You can't challenge fate | The smallest change | I'm overwhelmed
I'm serious | It makes perfect sense | Easy as ABC! | I can't even explain it | Cleaning up someone else's mess
I suck | I rule | I've got it made | Really, I'm serious | This bugs me | It's all lies | I want to believe | Beauty is a curse
