Swamped

Before you can get your bearings and work out what room is up top, you hear another noise. This one sounds like it's under you.

Oh, wonderful. Is there a tunneler down there after all? You crawl back so you can get a better look.

Something definitely seems to be pounding against the wooden foundations, but it's not having much luck breaking through. That purple wood's pretty solid stuff.

But you went and made a hole under the menagerie, didn't you. Which means something could slip through there.

And you still haven't dealt with whatever's up top... hang on, you hear something else.

Is that... a bell ringing?

That settles it, you'd better check things out up top. But if you just pop up in the middle of whatever's going on, you might find yourself in a bad position.
