Pokemon Tabletop RPG - It's Aliiiive!

Raphael tries again with the Pokedex, when above she hears A GROWING COMMOTION!

She then resolves to have no part of it.

She peeks up the stairs again.

Marc is horrified that he got distracted by Mario Kart, and he zooms right up to the rest of the group. He calls out Sleim, sensing danger.

"Oh! Um, she's Yuki-onna. A Froslass. Been with her since before... yeah."

You must admit you've never seen an awkward ghost before. He doesn't seem to have a problem with you pulling out your Pokedex, so you go ahead.
DC11: 1d20=18
The Pokedex manages to pick up the Pokemon well enough to scan it in successfully.


Raphael tries to Pokedex the other ghost pokemon this time.
DC11: 1d20=16
Yes, you successfully manage to scan Litwick.

Everybody shuffles up to the top floor where Bastion is doing his thing.

"Yeah, that's unlikely, kid."

He sends out his Poochyena, while the other two send out their own Pokemon.


Clifton tears off one of the tags on the graves, but it burns up as he does so!
He takes 6 damage from the flame!
You can feel a weak presence coming from the grave, but not much of one.


The frontmost Mook orders his Poochyena to show Bastion he means business!

It used Tackle!
Damage: 2d8+6+7=20
Bastion took 20 damage!

Clifton waves his hand in the air and blows on it. "Shit shit shit shit shit. Okay. Shit." Once that's done, he runs two meters up and two meters left, and slashes at the Poochyena with his knife.

"Alright, now! Calloway! Do your stuff!" He sends Calloway four meters up, and has him use Thundershock on Poochyena 1 as well.

Bastion punches the Poocheyena, sends out Groop two spaces above and one left of him, and makes him use POISON GAS.

THE DANGER ZONE

Rather than gettng hit by friendly fire, Sturm moves right 1, up 1 and attacks Poochyena 1 with his sword on the diagonal. Sleipnir attacks Poochyena 1 with Ember and moves down 1, left 5 and up 6.

Tori just wordlessly collars Raphael and heads up the stairs. One of her ladies is probably already looking upstairs-wards.

"Thanks. She's, uh, lovely."

Sleim moves up 6 and uses Pound on the Bidoof. Naturally, it isn't affected by Poison Gas.

Marc pokedexes the Rattata, then moves to that space northeast of Sturm.

"Natalie! Peck on that dog by Bastion!"

Gabby leaps off of Raphael's backpack, somersaulting and landing two west. He then uses Confusion on the rat thing.

Raphael also scans the unknown pogeymans!

The ghost with the Froslass starts following Tori, but for some reason, stops just before the stairs.

Marc sure does pokedex that Ratatta! It currently has 28 HP.

Raphael does similar, but won't get the information for another couple of turns.

Sleipnir, uh, doesn't have a target any more. It refrains from attacking, but does go ahead and move.


Ratatta attacks the nearest target, which happens to be a horse.

Sleipnir fainted. Dang.


Gabby used Confusion! REVENGE! Probably.

It takes 16 damage


The remaining Poochyena went and tried to eat a bird, because dog.

Groop poisoned the immediate area!

Poochyena 2 and Natalie were poisoned!
Bastion and Clifton were caught in the cloud.

They both became poisoned!


Sleim went ahead and Pounded that doofy lookin' thing.

the doofy lookin' thing took a punch to the face. Slimepunch.


In response, it uses Defense Curl!
Its defense raised one stage!


Groop gains 288 EXP

Raphael scans the hurfadurf, while nervously moving one west.

Shit, do antidotes work on humans? Tori marches forward and tries to use one on Bastion, just in case. She's got words for his dipshittery later if they all survive this, but figures Natalie should be able to shrug off a bit of swamp-gas. Hopefully.

"Peck again! On the other dog!"

Tori also scans said dog.

Natalie levelled up! Point to DEF.

Tori sprays an Antidote at Bastion, and he's cured of poison!

Sturm moves a bit, and also determines he's close enough to recall Sleipnir.
Also he hits a dog with an axe.

Ten damages to the dog.

Marc scans the Bidoof more immediately. S'got 9 HP.

The Ratatta acts first with Quick Attack against Groop!

NATALIE doesn't do anything, but is certainly enjoying the refreshing feeling of a Potion™.

She then takes 3 poison damage.


Sleipnir is taking a nap of sorts.


The Gastly suddenly remembers he's here and Licks the Poochyena.

It's not very effective, but hey. Crit hit.


Gabby did something Confusion. ing.

Ratatta took 13 damage! It fainted!
