For some reason I just doled out a heap of clues to Akumu in private and I thought it was probably best that I let everyone else know as well.

Rule 1 is a memey interpretation
Rule 2 is the most abstract interpretation
Rule 3 is lyrics based
Rule 4 is thematic of the specific song
Rule 5 is the most straightforward

PS the soundtrack isn't Life is Strange.

I mean, I don't know what the soundtrack is, so unless someone spells it out I'm never gonna solve rule 3 or 4.

And I'm certainly not going into the hellzone that is PMC to search it so let's take some wild guesses I guess!

Is it Shovel Knight's OST?
Is it The World Ends With You's OST?
Is it Journey's OST?
Is it you know what I just realised the inclusion of lyrics probably narrows it down a bit.

I just searched all your posts in the last six months with Youtube videos in them and none of them were video game soundtracks.

And, shockingly, the PMC is not six months old.

I also tricked myself in the process of doing that.

I swear to god these are not hard mode rules. These are rules inspired by a thing which would give you a way in to figuring what they are but the old fashioned way is still very much viable.

It's not any of these games and I've made the decision that if someone correctly identifies the game I'll say so.

Passes rule 5. And it turns out I did not post a video of one of the songs from this soundtrack like I thought I had. What I did post was lyrics, which is not especially helpful in this circumstance.

To make up for this mistake I'll give you a hint. Unintentionally #704 passes rule 1.
