SpoilerIt popped into my head as a place to live that doesn't sound like a place and I went with it. Now that I'm actually looking it up, it's actually a (very) small town, smaller than I would have guessed. I'm not sure if it should count for the round then (I'm not sure how one officially differentiates towns and cities).

Yeah but I basically took everyone that picked a place that was in Australia was picking the easy way out with respect to my question. And inconveniently:

This also was the logic I used, except I figured Sydney was maybe something else.

I'm pretty sure the landmark is the Opera House, not the reef. Honestly, Sydney was the first place my head went after "Paris duh" specifically for that pointy old thing.

The reef was the landmark for Cairns, I think.

I figured both Sydneys weren't part of the same question, but was banking on one of them being mine ;-;.

Sydney is in New South Wales, while Cairns – and essentially the whole of the reef – is in Queensland. I was deliberately misinterpreting things for obviously-failed comedic effect: Mehg was implying that it was foolish of those of us who assumed Cairns was a landmark-city for the reef – me, cyber, and Guy– to do so, so I was escalating that foolishness.

That's the joke.

Cairns is boring as shit. Queensland is boring as shit. Pretty much everything north of Brisbane is some of the dullest country you'll ever, ever see.

I think I'm gonna cut this to a 7 round game, its a bit too long for my tastes. Is that good by everyone? Plus also I'm beginning to think this game idea was shit and unthought through.

I don't wanna say this is a failed experiment until after Round 3 though, I got a good bunch of questions for Round 3 that will either make us all feel good about participating or basically prove that this game is one of incompetence.

I'm enjoying it so far.
