"Now you may be asking yourself, "Professor, what is a crytter?" And we'll get to that shortly!
But first, this is what is called a Crytter Crate™. It is a mobile storage system for crytters that
contains a miniature dimension, allowing you to transport an infinite amount of crytters with

"And here we have a crytter! This crytter is known as a Splegg. Crytters are creatures that inhabit our world.
We live alongside them, we keep them as pets, we train them, and some people even participate in crytter battles!"




"Crytters can be composed of various substances, and are placed into three categories: Animal,
Vegetable, and Mineral. You might be inclined to think Splegg here would be in the Animal
category, but you would be mistaken! Splegg is a Mineral crytter, and what appears to be organic
yolk is actually a thick soup of calcium carbonate.

"Good question! In fact there are fungal crytters! Typically, crytters that don't fall exactly into one of the categories are ascribed a Primary category and a Secondary category, to describe their characteristics. Take Mushraca here for example, it is primarily an animal crytter, and secondarily a vegetable crytter, owing to the combination of features that fungi posess."





"The way this elemental circle works, is that animal crytters consume vegetable crytters, vegetable crytters leach off of mineral crytters, and mineral crytters crush animal crytters. There are, as with anything, exceptions that prove the general rules, but they are too few to mention. In essence, if you're fighting a vegetable crytter, an animal-type attack would be very powerful against it, while a vegetable-type attack would be normally effective, and a mineral-type attack would be less effective."




"Rarely, there will be crytters that possess no material characteristics, and they are placed into the special category of Immaterial. Such crytters consist of things like gasses, spirits, or energy. None of the three regular types are extra powerful against Immaterial crytters, and are instead all normally effective. The opposite is also true, Immaterial attacks will deal normal damage to all three regular types of crytters. Now then, now that we've gone over the basics of crytters, it's time to tell you about the reason you're here today... "
