Those games are really nostalgic for me so i guess id give them a try if given the chance; not terribly excited about it though. I mean i already played them...

Hopefully they make those trumpets some justice, the soundtrack was very good.

Gen 3 was actually the last gen I played before I finally made the jump to Pokemon X.

It was...a little surprising to have that many layers of new Pokemon suddenly thrown at me.

I have to admit, while I was never campaigning for more remakes, Gen 3 does have the best sidegames in Contests and Secret Bases.

I might buy the Sapphire remake purely for secret bases

Good contests, underwater routes, and secret bases
also its just the coolest region imo
it has cities like Sootopolis and Fortree
it has crazy wilderness routes that are all rainy and overgrown
it has a volcano and a desert and islands and a cratered ash-covered north thats like the face of fucking mars
it has a cool cavern that actually looks like a cool cavern instead of just being another generic boring cave
it has a spooky hollowed-out halloween mountain that you can go in and over
like honestly every other region is just fucking boring in comparison

i want to see how the balancing works out now that everything has had the physical/special change applied to them

they need to stop limiting so many cool features to local multiplayer though

Oh wait realtalk though, open water surfing was hell in XY, at least for me. That optional area of "open sea" between Shalour and Coumarine had me mostly resort to wall-hugging to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Just, with the camera angle and the sprite size, you don't get nearly as much information about your surroundings, and that's got the potential to make it seriously fiendish if they don't fix it for oR/aS.

I want them to fix Sceptile since they left its stats as Special following the Physical/Special split, from when Grass was a Special type, but half of its moveset & its signature attack are Physical.
They're not going to though.

Chicago is apparently 30% furries according to my phone.

I'm counting on somebody to mod watch dogs to actually work properly on a PC because ubisoft can't optimize shit, then just waiting until they make a version where everything is included
