Schazer crowdsources workstuff time!

One of the teachers in charge of a sports team was looking for an English phrase for the back of the soccer team's tour shirts. The phrase was 総合性専門高校 (sou-gou-sei sen-mon kou-kou), where I already knew senmon koukou/専門高校 is technical high school - sougousei was turning up a blank for me.

Weblio spits out "synthesis" for 総合性, where I vaguely knew the -sei (性) on the end refers to character, nature, personality. Think of it like -like or -esque or -natured suffixes.

so I need to localise "総合-type Technical High School." Weblio's page for 総合 is here. My high school is a technical high school/trade school, and is characterised by its broad range of trades (agriculture, business+marketing, machinery, electronics, IT, welfare+occupational therapy+aged care+etc).

What kind of technical high school would you suggest? The following were some ideas I had:
-Combined
-Mixed
-Integrated
-Comprehensive
-Amalgamated
-Merged

Comprehensive feels like it'd be the best fit by far, both defintionally and from the sound of the entire phrase. Only problem is Comprehensive (School) might be a bit of a loaded phrase educationally speaking considering that's whatsimply non-selective high schools are called in the UK.

Where are they going to be touring? i.e. Is that cultural association something that could even come up/you should be worried about?

"Consolidated" sounds technical.

I agree with deens, Comprehensive sounds best?

Combined is my runner-up, Consolidated sounds like you have less subjects than usual not more :B

@Deens: They're gonna be at the island? State? championship, or somesuch. I doubt it's going to reach much of a non-Japanese speaking populace, but the only cultural associations that seemed needing dodging were, like:

-Integrated, considering generally it's thought of as "the opposite of segregated" particularly in American English (which predominates here)
-Merged because I thought it implied a co-ed school, which doesn't even work because sports teams are distinctly not co-ed
-Mixed somehow invokes both of the above, so, nah,
-Amalgamated sounds like we were the first school in Japan to fuck up the singularity
-Combined was my first suggestion, Comprehensive has positive connotations if you aren't familiar with any British associations

Yeah I had the same feeling re: comprehensive (positive connotations if you're not British, also relays what that adjective originally is the best I think) so I guess that's got my vote then?
