It's going to be like person versus person in a fistfight to the death. The battlefield? Video games. The fistfight? Playing those video games simultaneously on the internet. And you could earn the coveted title of "person on the internet who is good at video games"! Or lose!

HOW THIS'D WORK IF MORE THAT TWO PEOPLE WERE UP FOR IT (THEY WON'T BE)
Alright so this thing would be divided into rounds, each round being a different game. All the games will either be easily emulatable or freeware and easy to get running so no overt need to worry about that. The rounds will use a service such as tinychat to allow simultaneous competitive play. The challenges for each round will range from completing a level of a certain game the fastest to getting the highest score in a certain amount of time. IT DEPENDS ON THE GAME! ROUND ONE: MEGA MAN 2 WHOA

Okay so for this round you'll need the Mega Man 2 ROM, a NES emulator, and some variety of software capable of sharing part of your desktop as a webcam feed (I haven't tested this one?). The challenge will be a RACE of part of the game, but what part will be a secret until riiiight before it starts. Oh, and the loser WILL BE ELIMINATED

Alright so we'll probably be using tinychat to do this so make sure your setup works! As for when this'll all be going down, I'm thinking around 11:00 pm GMT+1 (daylight savings y'all) on either the 30th or the 31st? Say what time is good for you, or if those days aren't good for you, or whatever. IT'S COOL WITH ME.
