A map of the world, drawn by our protagonist! I'll try to put places in roughly in order of introduction. For places whose names the protagonist doesn't know, feel free to suggest one as a command.



Four Watchers (1)

A group of mesas representing the feet of the mountains. The pillars erected on their heads were built by the ancestors of the people of Sand. These have been populated many times, and the signs of habitation can still be seen. Not that many live there now. It is difficult enough to find water here in peacetime.

Charre (2)

Once a mid-sized city of striking tenacity. The markets before the war were a sight to behold! I have heard rumblings that the population has dwindled somewhat recently, however. Few like to live somewhere caught between anarchists and the routine expeditions of the Green Men.

Airfield (3)

SpoilerShow

I do not know why they were building an airfield amid the Sand, but I like it less. The Green Men here were fat with supplies and canned rations. I hear they routinely send scouts from there; barbarians who cause havok amongst the Sand's inhabitants.

Clipfort (4)

SpoilerShow

A fortress built long ago, when my people warred with those of the Sand. Abandoned for many years, now it swarms with a new life. The Green Men outfitted it in the early years of the war with anti-air and -siege weaponry. That was when we had planes.

Note: Conversation is probably going to be a pretty big part of this adventure, so you can directly suggest what to say, or suggest topics to bring up. We don't necessarily know very much about our heroine just yet, so for now it is probably easier to suggest general topics.

This took longer than I wanted it to because I had a bunch of irl stuff to deal with. Gonna try and update quicker in future.

I'll post a basic map of Charre soon! In the meantime feel free to ask about what kind of stuff Skinner knows, or suggest things. Also note that the options in this post aren't exhaustive! Feel free to suggest alternate courses of action.

Sorry I ignored your command agent! I actually wrote this update ages ago but hadn't drawn the panels until this week.

Ooof... tough choice. As much as a surprise attack might work out, the chances of the transport escaping are just too high. And you'll be two against a whole bunch of dudes, which doesn't speak wonders for your odds.

On the other hand, you're probably not the stealthiest person on the block. You'd not stand much of a chance of being able to infiltrate and find out what's going down.

I'd follow the transport. On the off chance it's not going to Charre though, you may want to break off at some point and head to town instead. No matter what, you'll be safer behind some walls. And keep your eyes peeled for clues.

Sorry for the sudden hiatus. I'm not going to drop this. I've just been terribly busy with school and life stuff lately. I'll try to be more on the ball with this in the coming weeks.

You're going to want to either stay hidden or get to high ground. Have you got compunctions about bringing down that chopper?
