Sorry, my point was you didn't know, so that was a point in favor of your being town. My sleepy, addled self isn't very good at getting these things across.

Fullclaiming is a thing I can do if people want it.

That might be nice. So the circus is an entity that roleblocks? Do you have any idea of the priority of your roleblock (i.e. it seems like blocking distracts the player from noticing other visitors or watchers, maybe? I think maybe this can be disproven by charts of the previous nights. Can anyone come forward as to having been visited by the circus? Or are they dead.)
