2020 EDITION

Made it just in time before the new year starts, hope the holidays have treated you all well!

Welcome once more to the (slightly late) Winter Game Giveaway extravaganze, where I (and sometimes a few others) hope to spread some holiday cheer and pass on games that others might enjoy.  It is a long and storied tradition (which you can see the last of right over here, run by yours truly and a few others over the years.

This year's giveaway is going to be run a little differently from the others, due to the fact that my own obligations kept me from getting it up in a reasonable time and I'm not going to have a ton of spare time to run it.  Notably, we're going to simplify it a little bit!

Each round players will have ten points to spend on games they would like to win.  At the end of each round, games bid on will find homes, and a new one will begin.  This will continue until every player has won all of their prizes (eight) or called it quits.  The important distinctions here are two, namely:

1) Every game bid on will go at the end of the round.  Theoretically everyone could be done in a single round!  This means that if there is something you are interested in, make sure you have points on it - best case you can get it uncontested, worst case you stop someone else from taking it with a small bit without you contesting it.
2) Your points are replenished every round.  There are no bonus points given, you have ten each round so you are encouraged to spend them all and take risks to get what you want, the only way you lose is by not participating at all.

Please make all new bids in a separate post, and if you are taking away points please specify what you are removing them from.

As always, those of you who want to get in the way of me sending off all of my extra games/just want to be awesome generous people can post their donations in this quicktopic, making sure to check so we can avoid a bunch of duplicate titles.  Whatever those titles may be, please make sure to state where they're coming from (leftover steam keys, GOG, Humble Bundle, what have you) so people know what they need to play them.

Finally, to take part in the giveaway you must have:
1) Been part of the forum before this thread was created.
2) Have signed up in the thread prior to the sale ending and giveaway beginning.

1.  MQuinny1234 - Turned into a bird and flew to another planet D1.  Was checked into a hospital because of this terrible disease D2.  Gained monster killing abilities and sent on a secret mission D3.  Elected vice president of everything just in time to be sent into a coma D4.
2.  Numbers - Caught the avian disease from Quinny while sailing the high seas D2.  Went on a long trip to become the ultimate sorcerer D3.  Chartered a plane to get there D4.  Vanished.
3.  Vancho1 - Swore an oath to criminal organization and sent to a gas station in... Kentucky D1?  Cursed by the gods for leading an army of battlesuits to Mars D2.  Took up gardening to try and earn favour (and a pardon) D3.  Tried to take to the skies but killed by an invading army D5.
4.  fourwalls - Vanished.
5.  CSJ - Just a bug murdering rats D1.  Acquired a sweet battlesuit to do so D2.  Waged war against trolls with the help of a ghost, but overwhelmed by Germans with their own battlesuits outside of a peaceful farming town D3.
6.  Coldblooded - Died, brought back to life, and fled from their viking murderers through a mysterious spire in a musical adventure for the ages D1.  Suffered a terrible tragedy D2.  Started watching people through hidden cameras to solve the mystery D3.  Didn't go down alone D4.

There are some really great games on this list, if anybody hasn't played them yet I would strongly recommend Hollow Knight, Dandara, Ass Creed Origins, Tacoma, and Snake Pass to anyone in roughly that order.
