You are Monty Hall, and you have a problem. You love opening doors. Oh it’s great. You used to be able to open and close them all day until The Problem started occurring.
It took some working out but you think you have a handle on it. Whatever door you last opened, that’s safe. You can open and close it as much as you need. But when you swap to a new door there is an increasingly high likelihood that behind that door will be A Creature.
You already have two of these Creatures in your house and you don’t know what to do about it. What will you do?

What do the different colored doors mean? Have you tried opening/closing windows?

In this purely hypothetical mental construct of your own mansion you have envisioned: red indicates a door that is closed, green indicates a door that is open, and blue indicates the door you most recently opened/closed.
You haven't tried windows yet.

Well then there's no issue! Open the most recent door and skedaddle down the hallway and shut the library door. Then shuffle on down to the gallery and home theater and shut the door between the home theater and the game room (or the gallery and home theater if a creature has meandered into there by then.) After that, open the front door and scurry to phone an exterminator.

Consider the humble Creature. A potentially infinite supply of meat or friendship, depending on its disposition. You must ascertain their affability! Head out the recent door and into the Library through another. It is time to meet your new best friend. Or your maker.

You eye your window thoughtfully. It might be worth opening just to see if this Problem is exclusive to doors or not. Then again, can you really risk the existence of another Creature?

You don't know for certain whether every opened door becomes permanently safe once used, or whether with each usage you roll the dice afresh and risk spawning a new creature. It is difficult to say when you are working from a limited pool of information such as which you have at your disposal.

The tool kit is in the shed, which means at least two doors and the possibility of coming face to face with a Creature.

So... if you have understood your Problem correctly this door should be currently the only safe door to open.
Even so you breathe a sigh of relief when you see the hallway beyond is empty.

You've made your mind up. You're definitely either going to bravely (or foolishly )confront the Creatures directly or barricade them in like a coward and leave the task up to qualified professionals. One of the two options.
Only as you are on your way there- A Creature! The one from the library? Was it seeking you out?
How will you handle this encounter?

Nope! nope nope nope! Bust the dining room door open. Should it spawn a creature, flee to the study. Otherwise you can lure the creature into the room, keeping the table between you and it at all times. Then, once it is in the dining room with you, run around the table and exit through the door you entered, locking it in the room.

You pluck the portrait of your Many-Times-Great Aunt Lucretia Hall (the inventor of the very tall door) from the wall and hide behind it.
You hunker down behind the painting, surely this is a foolproof disguise? But, no, you can still hear its many feet shuffling along the wood floor. It's still coming!

You discard the portrait (many apologies Many-Times-Great Aunt Lucretia) off to one side. This Creature may be unsettling, but maybe this is an opportunity to make A Friend?
"Hello, excuse me. Hi there. Would your name be Woulge perhaps? Might you want to join my Book Club?"
The Creature (Woulge?) shuffles closer.
Nope nope. Not helping. Aaaahh!

Oh no. You never should have skipped out on all those lessons about developing your own personalized combat techniques. All you have is Generic Techniques like: Punch and Kick and Throw Object.
You hurl Many-Times-Great Aunt Lucretia's portrait at the Creature pretending your dealing it from a deck of cards. It um… the portrait straight up seems to have been removed from existence.
So that’s a concern.

Opening that door would bring you very close to where the Creature is. Do you still want to risk it?

Maybe that could work? They don’t seem to really respond to anything you do except to keep getting closer though.

Wait, are these creatures doors? Perhaps objects are not annihilated, but instead transported to another room. If these creatures are doors, you must find a way to contain them...and then...open them.
Take the secret passage from the conservatory to the lounge.

Open the toilet, if a creature is spawned, hop on that shelf opposite the conservatory door and allow the creatures to obliterate each other.
If no creature is spawned...I mean a bathroom break couldn't hurt, it's a stressful situation.

Is there a chandelier you could hang from or other high ground anywhere? If so, you could lure two Creatures under it and jump up there. When they converge underneath you, they may disappear!

Go to the kitchen. It is one door, so it is risky, but you could find useful tools in there.
