For what it's worth, as someone who was only tangentially 'there', I thought those MSPAFA references were really fun!

Need help filling and revising the TVTropes Page, if any of you stragglers are around.

(That was awesome. I hope you'll leave links to Steelworks and Powerworks to your pages with them when mspfa will be fixed. You know, like Hussie did here: https://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003233)

The Steelworks and Powerworks references don't look like references if you haven't already heard of them. They flow pretty well as just being alternate universes. Sure, you had to be there, but you also don't rub my face in it.

You're pretty sure you crossed that line a while ago.

You stomp out the flaming footprints before stepping back and surveying the situation.
In front of you is a giant, over-elaborate film projector.
Film is being pulled in from a massive reel on the side.
The other end of the projector is sticking through a hole in the empty space, which is next to a door, also in the aforementioned empty space.
You take a quick peek. Looks like your everyday movie theatre. At least from what you can see. It's dark in there.

The console is locked with a password. Who would password-protect a projector? Who would even consider making a projector that could be password-protected?

Looking at the portions of film that are loaded into the machine shows you more of the same - the scene of a woman standing in a power plant. The spicy stuff must still be in the reels.
However, you're not certain you want to spend the time going through one of these things. They're massive!

You grab a portion of film that is already loaded into the projector and tear it. Somehow, this gives you two complete lengths of film.
You probably shouldn't do that again. You can see this getting messy real quick.

Quick, someone with too much time go through the archives and see if there are any changes resulting from the universe being torn.

>Randomly mash keyboard

>You know what, you've been having a really cruddy day, and that person in the theater is going to be on the receiving end of your misplaced rage. Barge your way down there, smack that paper out of their hands, and immediately declare that everything they like is dumb. Why must the innocent suffer so?

The console is looking for a password with 8 letters. You try out a bunch:
PASSWORD
FILMREEL
12345678
87654321
QWERTYUI
ASDFGHJK
1Q2W3E4R
00000000
11111111
MURDERER
PTCHOOOO
None of them work.
You're not sure how you'll ever be able to guess a password without anything else to go on.
You've never been good with passwords yourself, and on more than one occasion have ended up using your own name. Yeah yeah, it's a bad habit, you know.
You'd try that here, but Connie is still too short to be accepted. That is, assuming that the password even is eight characters long. Isn't it bad form to reveal any kind of information about a password? You don't know - as you said, you're not particularly good at this.

Also...
>Try "WakingUp", "capslock", "CAPSLOCK", "allusion" and other tangenial references to your current adventure.
>Check if the password can accept more than 8 letters, input "waterworks" if so
Eventually...
>Consider the password thing might be a decoy. Move onto the auditorium unless it's empty.
