(Okay, I have to ask, how did you get from 'circle-triangle' to this fairly elaborate (and very well done btw) drawing of a girl ?
I mean from the choice of these basic shapes, I'd be expecting something rather stylized, almost stick figure-esque, so i'm curious as to how the acttual design process went here. I guess i can sort of see some round shapes, particulary for the face and glasses but the triangle ?)

SpoilerIt's about to get educational in here! Shapes are not always obvious at first. But it mostly has to do with overall shapes and repetition in the design. Circle is the primary shape so most overall general shapes are defined around that theme. Triangle is used as flavour, accents, to mix things up.
You can see triangles all over the place if you look closely enough.
