IMO, since we've got specific crafting recipes in play, I could see it being a situation where there's a limited pool of items that are handed out at random, rather than a completely random loot table dealio. Plus, I don't believe we've had any confirmed cases of duplicate present items yet, and there seems to be a whole heck of a lot of item variety, making dupes even on a random table unlikely.

Also Schaz, I'd argue that choosing not to soft-claim this early isn't anti-town... but I'm def. more liable to trust folks who are actually trying to make sense of our current information, rather than hoping to lurk their way past suspicion, or folding on their votes and vanishing as soon as there's pressure.

Not that I'm naming any names, Pharmacy and Robottobot.

Mirdini got a recipe book, I got a recipe book. I don't know where they came from, but that's more or less a logical conclusion to reach based on the meta implications of a game full of items. And the logical implication of how guns normally work. xD

Sorry for dropping out during all of these shenanigans but a few things I noticed that I don't think got addressed and/or corrected:

granola, you got the other item because Akumu's spring apparently takes another item from the inventory with it. You also couldn't have been one way driven because you wouldn't have gotten either in the first place (I think).

a52 is probably town Mirdini I mean I see absolutely no reason for scum watcher to just suddenly claim like that? I mean it would be an absolutely ballsy play and maybe if all three of Cat/Wheat/Pharms are town it could be a potential world but otherwise why even risk it?

Schazer I don't think everyone involved in this conversation is definitely town, since there's a pretty good chance that the mafia could be in here trying to get more and more information out through this whole mess while not giving much up in return. Maybe that's what you meant though. That said I do certainly feel better about a few people than I did before (Cat, you, Mirdini a little).

I got three items this morning, like I mentioned ages ago. That was only one of them. Like yours, I don't know what all of them do yet.

So are you now coyly implying that you did get a recipe as one of those 3 items? Or did you mean the book was one of the three items, and you're still avoiding saying if you got a recipe from it or not? If so buddo, there's zero harm in confirming or denying if you got a recipe from your book today.

Reading over the last few days, it's easy to spot granolaman's posts against me, constantly fishing for reads on me since I voted them briefly on day 1. I'm not sure you read back all the way, but that pattern's pretty clear. I don't know what to make of their mix-up with wheat (claimed thief, possibly town?), pharmacy and cat, with the latter being really really mum about exactly what they were up to that whole time.
Since this:

That's an awful lot of nothing posts and ooh ahhing and not a lot of definitive answers.
I don't think all of them are scum, but what's the odds of three town roles colliding on the same person in one night after a d1 gun claim? You know, the one granola boy started raging over when I made sure he didn't sweep it under the table. What I'm saying is, there's some quality misdirection going on that I'm not happy with but I can tolerate if it brings up better scum reads.

Yeah I’m not getting good vibes out of CSJ either. They seem wayyy too flip-floppy to be properly accusing anyone in particular of being maf, and instead seem to be trying to stir up things with other people to get others lynched. Definitely shady. vote csj
