one of the last times i was adventuring around, one of my friends found some sort of "sexy catfight" photo gallery

there were pretty much exactly 2 kinds of images uploaded and plastered over the walls of this place:

this game looks tempting...

second life is really fun if you've got good friends and at least one of them has a deep understanding of second life's history

but you have to understand, second life is a giant sandbox. you can do a ton of things with it- you can upload your own 3d mesh and textures and make yourself an avatar from scratch, you can rent land and share a house with friends, you can sell stuff you made on the marketplace (and unlike many other games with digital currency, you can actually redeem it for real life money??)

but this amount of freedom means a lot of people also do unsavory things with it. luckily it's usually easy to avoid, if you just keep the Adult tagged areas hidden. :v

i know, it's sort of like adult roblox. it looks like such a great source of inspiration. i could get sooo many officequest assets out of it

Why is this picture terrifying? Is it supposed to be an ad for something? Is she a vampire? Why do her teeth look so creepy?

It's not an ad, it's... a single frame of a slideshow. That image would slowly rotate through a selection of images that told a story, a story about two ladies fighting for your attention or something. And it was specifically vampire ladies, in that instance.

I don't have answers for the other questions.

context for the last pic: i opened my SL browser and i had logged off in someone's store, and when i logged back in, the floor didn't load for a split second and i realized there was a secret if i panned the camera underneath

I don’t get it.

the beauty of Second Life is exploring places and seeing how other people decorate a virtual space. in a way, every weird decoration kinda tells a story. someone thought "glue" was a good word to put on the wall above their desk.

I misread that as CLUE and I thought it was one of those crazy detective boards
