This by the way was a very bad-faith statement on my part D1
My logic was given how many people were active and having a go at contributing D1, there were decent odds that a softlynch could happen without scum needing to actually join the wagon, which ofc would be very much to scum's advantage as the people on said lynch would fall under considerable scrutiny D2.
Of course, as soon as I point this out it becomes on of those WIFOM situations and Qdinger's cat/wagon kind of, anti-collapses back into uncertainty re: how many scum were on the lynch. I could go back and see who talked about it and try puzzle out who was genuinely buying it/pretending to buy it to sow confusion/sarcastically buying it, but, eh

Hey Acio can you post a current update on your Blazer feelings? I was under the impression that you found his late D1 play death-worthy but I'm just not seeing the sins there.

So, Blazer's most latest posts make me think they are a bit more town, but I still think that they are somewhat Third-Party. Right now my read on them is shifting between Town and Third-Party.

AC is pretty ambiguous. They haven't been really doing anything to help town, yet have been pretty okay in my standards. Pilot looks a bit like town, and I agree with their read on Solaris, but not enough to change my vote.

Well, I WAS gonna save this for later, but I suppose this is a better time than ever amid opinions that I haven’t been been very “actually active” (being very passive) - but also since this seems to mostly have been swept under the rug.
BlazerC, multiple times, you’ve mentioned that you believed that the mafia were going to nightkill the lurkers. Your post about how “if I was mafia, I’d kill the lurkers first” first brought this to my attention. On top of that, repeatedly, you’d single out Justice Watch and specifically Justice Watch for being a prime example of this, even going so far as to call your own hounding of jwatch “incredibly unusual”. And yet, every time it’s been brought up, you’ve conveniently dodged the issue and refused to put any real explanation to it.
This isn’t necessarily a scumtell, but it IS very very weird and I would like it cleared up.
So... vote: blazerC what’s the deal, yo?

Hey AC, do you still think Airey or Numbers or Slorange or Solaris is scum, and if so why does Blazer get priority over the rest?

vOv I hated his daystart today focusing on the siren and listing out that people voted on Q and coming to no real conclusion on it
That said I've been running through his posts and the speculation on why reyweld was shot is a weirdo tangent that's odd for scum to take especially when he later concludes that reyweld didn't have any content.
Atm I don't have any objections to AC beyond it feels too easy but I should actually read their posts first i guess

Bad; yes. See below:

I couldn't find anything that resembled BlazerC referring to their own actions as "incredibly unusual" and it strikes me as very delayed to throw the vote on BlazerC out now of all times.
I did say I had a theory that Solaris and aC would be aligned with each other; going to say I don't feel as strongly about it now. aC's actions are too wavering in nature to support my suspicion they were working at subtle distancing (or that aC would be cooperating with potential scummates in any sort of manner). Solaris' response leaves a lot to be desired, as does Airey's.
We're already in softlynch territory for aC and I don't think we're done for today so I have no desire to push it over the edge yet.

Better after #370. I don't get the impression it's scum commentary. #376 isn't a towntell for me, but it is sincere and I welcome that compared to their earlier posts. There is also a very slight mechanical reason for me to feel better about Schazer; I will possibly elaborate on that tomorrow. I cannot be certain of it today.

My scumread on Solaris was joined with not liking aC as well. Do you share the same reasoning I presented, or do you have a different reason / additional thought to reading Solaris as scum (since aC is neutral-town to you)?
And if you have a stronger scumread than Solaris, who is it? I would think your vote is better parked on that person than someone you feel is town-3p.
(And usually there aren't many third parties in Mafia. I would not believe there to be an additional third party after LQ and our serial killer. Do you think Blazer is an SK, a different third party, etc.? - or that we don't have an SK in our midst?)

Still don't like Numbers (see #330 for reasoning on that), not a positive read
Airey or slorange... I'm willing to just sit and wait for that situation to develop more, they're less-scum now than Solaris or Numbers or BlazerC for now due to Posts be Lackin'
Blazer is top priority atm for me because I just wanna figure out what's the deal with some of the glaring things they've said consistently

AC feels uh
If they're scum they're playing aggression chicken pretty hard and I can't say I'm really feeling that especially with it not being a smart move the morning after scum dies and confirms a serial killer in play

Playing aggressively and bluntly and uh, not really doing it well
Like "I like all these people because they agree with me" is not really the kind of blunt thing scum says unless they're trying to psych you out
Too scummy to be scum more or less. Which I think is not a great strat to begin with since it's like wine level 3 and worse when there's an SK available if you get towned off it
Solaris voting them and Seedy's bad vote are the only things really making me wonder if I'm wrong here; if AC's actually scum seedy definitely is because she was trying something pretty hard on schazer earlier and swapped here? That's a "burn the liability" vote if ever I've seen one.

there's just a certain point where I can't write off weird behavior anymore, even if I'm uncertain about my ability to actually read a person
I kind of see where you're coming from with the "it's too easy" thing but.......I just...gotta vote someone if they can't stop making posts I don't like, you know?
I still feel eh about blazer I gotta agree with cb, I'm not really FEELING that lynch considering who's on it
of course, the numbers lynch itself is endowed with other problems now
I think schazer lynch might need more Material before everyone will do the honorable thing and kill them. although I don't like their recent post much...I don't put a lot of stock in that whole "this interaction is coaligned/unaligned/whatever" stuff. and their only comment so far on the whole blazer/ac thing is "they're not coaligned" which is a truly faskinating takeaway
man, now you're making me feel bad about switching off...
@Schazer: how do you feel about Airey, tehPilot, and Solaris

also wrt ac's play sometimes people are put in the position of "pretending to be town" who aren't actually that good at seeming town when they ARE town
the "d1 bad" stuff is definitely honest imo, and this weirdness about voting and pressuring could easily be them attempting to be "true to how they feel about the game" and "stick to values and behavior they feel like their town self would." sometimes you just aren't that good at simulating a fake townself that's divorced from your scum inclinations but you keep it up anyways cuz it seems like the right thing to do. the insistence on their neutralness feels like that kind of "well I feel neutral, so I should say that, because that's definitely what I would say anyways as town" attitude

I'm gonna Switch vote to Solaris because there's not really anyone I find more of a scumread on and because of multiple things, those being: not really explaining their jumping on the AC wagon, not explaining switching their vote for the final time to Q yesterday as well as jumping on that wagon, general defensiveness, and somewhat odd posts. Also because BlazerC is ambiguous.

I can kinda see what you're getting at Seedy though Schazer's plays have come off more null than anything to me. What's really fascinating me is the wide variety of opinions we've accumulated on them. AC's reading them as town for some reason; Airey TehPilot and Acio all want them dead but you're the only one actually committed enough to throw down a vote today. Meanwhile Blazer and Sol are reading them "scum but not worth pursuing." (Sai is also somewhere out there with his mysterious opinions.)
All this coalesces into what could be one helluvan info lynch if that's what we wanted to shoot for today. They aren't my highest scumspect but I'll be damned if I'm not interested in seeing which way they flip.
