I wouldn't say "last moments" as that implies being there as they pull the plug, and her mom would definitely want to be present during that.

I mean she can be present too. It'll just be more awkward. Doesn't change what we have to do.

At some point we really probably shoulda asked Lucia's Mom her name. Gotten more familiar with her. Helped her shift her emotional responsibility over onto Derrick some so she'd be more inclined to listen to him.

You pause for a moment to think about your progress. If it wasn't for your friends you don't think you'd have made it this far. Before you never thought you could trust people as easily as you did, but you suppose it's a sign of your own progress as a young man.

You were nervous up until the group hug with your friends, now you're determined. You recall buying a lot of items from the IP store you thought you'd need, but it seems like a waste of money now. Good thing you kept the receipt. You wonder if there's anything else you should do before entering?
