and re: the checking years part of my post, the one weird way their role could have dodged redirection and thus actually check you (wheat) & CSJ would've been if it targeted in-game years rather than players, but that would be kind of an absurd role.
Yeah 'accidental night action activation' would not have happened through a post in the thread for multiple reasons - including the fact that before the start of the last night phase Mathgirl specifically said posts in the thread would not activate abilities beyond the 'open present' stuff at the start of D1.
Which means either robottobt straight-up forgot to check anyone N1 and isn't saying so for some reason, or they're being super cagey about the check for other reasons (such as they're scum and don't want to toss more possibly revealing 'choices' out there).
That being said, scientist + shotgun cop in a game with a miller still isn't absurd balance, so I would not rule out RL + robottobt both being town completely. That said robottobt's current strange statements (dog year that is the most dog?) are not particularly convincing.
Think I still wanna lynch CSJ today though. That being said this extension is not worthless CSJ because we're getting town-helpful info re: what's up with RL and robottobt and it'll hopefully also give RobotNerd time to check up on the thread again.

yeah, sorry RL, I should maybe have made my miller claim more straightforward and obvious (instead of being jokey and using some jargon)...it’s an awkward thing to bring up, and I didn’t want to divert too much attention from actual lynches into a mechanical/gameplay debate

I guess I should also report on some general item news: while I appreciate what folks sent my way last night I unfortunately only got one thing that's valid for my Combinator to do work on, so would deffo still appreciate some other parts so I can maybe craft a useful thing.
As for any other theoretically useful things I got that can't be Combinator'd I don't have news on that front just yet.

because I found Laser's reaction to Seedy's miller deal (when it was finally brought to their attention) a lot more believable than robottobt's stuff so far

I don't super believe Robust Laser either but yeah I find it a lot more believable and genuine feeling than Robo and also don't believe they'd be counterclaiming each other with such a dangerous role this early when they were both more marginally looked at before either vOv.
aC any comments on what's been going on besides perish slash did you ever end up revealing the other people you chose/why you chose them (without giving away too much role info if you still want to hide details)?

RL, I would personally advise you to stop trying to focus your role on finding a single scum, since with the way your role works that'd be pretty difficult and involve multiple nights for one guilty. clearing townies is more useful than it seems (narrows the field of mislynches), and getting a bunch all at once (drivers notwithstanding) is nothing to sneeze at.
I guess since we're talking about items I might as well bring this up, although I don't want mafia to steal it from me, but.......I Gots A Noose. it's a oneshot judge. I got it from the present d1...I didn't check what it actually did in the item database until d1 ended (I didn't expect to get something that powerful out of a random d1 present) (I kind of wish we could get short descriptions in our qt instead of having to go track down the item database link. I don't get why we can't) but I probably wouldn't have used it that day anyways, since that'd be antitown without any real wagons for info
with all the itemswitching roles floating around it has a chance of Disappearing from my inventory at any time, so...basically unless you guys decide you want to do a trust fall with me Don't No Lynch Ever Again This Game

Really hope we don't have any day-ending abilities for the noose to trigger with because that item could get scary fast otherwise assuming it got passed to scum or somethin'.
