Sweet Desert Rain
This is my thread for talking about rain. I won't post anything in it now though.

Rain is super good and it leaves behind good smells, and during the hotter months it makes things cooler for few days. It's getting to 100 degrees fahrenheit right now. I want the rain. I love the rain.

rain is the best weather, nice and refreshing
Quiet. Good for an unusual opinion. Doesn't talk much.

Back when my laptop still worked when not plugged into a wall whenever it would rain I would head out to the patio (it's covered) and just sit outside while doing my usual internets. It's just pleasant.

RE: Sweet Desert Rain
google says that it's going to rain on sunday and i live in a desert

and all the temperatures after that day are around 80 degrees instead of 100

I hope that it isn't a fluke, please god don't tell me it's a fluke

I live in a desert where it's actually supposed to rain all August, starting sometime in July and ending sometime in September. It's nice cause no one else waters my pomegranate tree so I feel more safe about leaving the house for a week at a time during monsoon, which this is. Sorry for runon sentence.

Today it's gray and warm as it tends to be in spring. I was ghosting the internet late, drifted off to sleep lying down without a cover, at some point actually pulled the cover over myself. Woke up fairly early, that summery light you know.

Happy almost summer everyone! Unless you live in the Southern Hemisphere.

A couple years ago, when I was an unhappy high schooler on summer break, I remember when a big storm came through. It was the remnants of a hurricane that had hit the South, coming up the coast. It promised rain and high winds still. Similarly I got to sleep pretty late, I did that every night that summer. Listened to music - I can remember which music actually, it was Hurt Vol. 1. Woke up early, maybe even before 7, and the rain was lightly coming down - went outside and stood in the rain for ages. Later I think the wind and rain got stronger and I had to come in.
