It's a good thing that, back in fifth grade, when asked "Hey kid, do you have a nickname," and responding with "Yes, it's "Leftenant Fish,"" I was follow-up-questioned with "Left Hand Fish?" so that I had the opportunity to say, "No, actually, it's Lieutenant Fish," and then go on to keep that nickname until this very moment (what, if the numbers were kept up, would be like midway between fifteenth and sixteenth grade) and can finally say, friends, take the first three letters of my nickname (L, I, and E) to heart when evaluating comrade Loather's proposition.

Turns out I didn't need those three kidneys! It has been years and I'm still fine. I mean, sometimes I can hear the ghosts of my "sponsors" at night, but I am a heavy sleeper so it's really no problem. The credit coards, on the other hand, have been extremely helpful in tying down my spending and holding together my life.

I have no regrets.
